Wow. What a great find! Good consignment shops are hard to find, but if you like high quality prcies, GREAT customer service, and unbeatable product, Lilise is for you. The owner Ellen is always cheerful when you are in, and she knows her product so well that she can immediately point you in the right direction if you’re in a rush. If not she is super helpful in bringing you pieces that you might not have seen.
Also, her choices in product consignment are always clean, fashionable, and current.

I bought a traditional wedding dress in my home state of SC that needed only a hem and minor alterations up top. Paid almost $ 400 cash for alterations at first fitting. It never fit again despite exercising and losing inches. Two weeks before the wedding — a new tailor in a different state advised me that the alterations made were beyond repair.
I literally stumbled upon Lilise when a hairdresser mentioned a bridal consignment store that very same day the tailor called to say the first dress was a «no go.» Lilise actually has a small selection of bridal gowns, but I found another gorgeous dress within minutes. It needed some degree of alterations. But the staff member placed on hold — and contacted Agnes of L & B tailoring to advise her of the situation. A Lilise staff member offered to take the dress to L & B Tailoring to take a look before I paid for the dress, but Agnes stopped by first and confirmed that she could make the changes.
I bought the dress.
The staff at Lilise Designer Resale was courteous, professional, and attentive beyond expectations. The service infinitely better than at the expensive boutique where I bought my first dress. I cannot thank them enough!
