I purchased my home prewired with CAT cable and did not have the speed you’d expect from a hard wired network. I contacted Livewire Communications. Jeremy returned my inquiry through his website in less than a day. We spoke and after listening to my needs and current network problems thought it would be best to come out and assess my needs and make some recommendations. Jeremy was prompt, professional and obviously an expert in the networking business. His initial visit lasted just over an hour. He examined the layout of my home, the tech box, hardware connections, devices on network, wireless access point, speed and network strength across my entire home. After taking down all the information I receive a quote via email and a call from Jeremy to go over his recommendations and the quote. He explained everything to me in language I could understand and came up with a customized solution that would fit my networking needs. His quote was very competitive. I scheduled the work several weeks later. He arrived on time and got right to work. He reworked everything except the wires in my wall. From the communications box, the tech box all the way to the wall connections. Everything installed was commercial grade. Wireless access points were optimized to provide superior coverage with seamless handoffs to minimize drops. Signals were maximized for speed. In the overall results were outstanding. On Xfinity/​Comcast blast up to 150Mps I am actually now getting 175+ Mps hardwire and wireless. Jeremy and is team were very efficient and clean. Jeremy has followed up several times to ensure I was happy with my network. I highly recommend Livewire. Jeremy and his team will get every ounce of network speed out of your network possible.

I needed to upgrade the office with new ethernet jacks and Micah and Jeremy did a great job. They were on time, friendly, and, it’s a small detail but important– they didn’t make a huge mess. I was still working while they were doing the install and it was as little a disruption as could be!

On July 22, 2014, Jeremy and Micah installed a bunch of hard-​wired Ethernet jacks and cleaned up a previous botched install by a previous ISP. Jeremy and Micah were here on time, were easy to work with, and did an awesome job on the install. Not only are they very tidy, but more important, meticulous in their craft.
They ran into many unforeseen challenges with the install, but figured out good ways around all of them anyway. Due to the challenges and me asking them to do several more jacks at the last minute, they were here a few more hours than they would have been. They really went above and beyond.
And to top it all off, despite all the extra time due to all the challenges encountered, the original reasonable quote is what they stuck with in the end. Needless to say, I gave them a little extra. They definitely deserved it.
I would happily use Jeremy and Micah again, and will also happily refer them to others if it ever comes up.

(p.s. If you are able to and don’t have it already, I strongly recommend getting hard-​wired for gigabit Ethernet in at least some strategic points. It has been like Christmas around here since my install, and Comcast added icing on the cake recently by doubling our internet speeds for free… thank you Comcast… I begrudgingly have to say it is a bit Comcastic around here of late).
