Whenever I’m craving burritos or nachos, this is my GOTO! Their tortilla chips are so good & the verde salsa is the best! Definitely worth the wait, which is no more then 10 minutes on a busy lunch rush. You will be satisfied and stuffed for the rest of the day. Great service and clean steel tables with 2 types of hot sauces. Caliente!

This place is BOMB. I’ve been looking for a legit Mexican spot that was comparable to restaurants I frequented in San Antonio. Tacos Pancho is it. I stopped in before heading to the Bart and had the enchiladas. They were fantastic! Flavors were great and they tasted authentic! I even had an opportunity to chop it up with the manager. He was super cool and said he would make me an off menu item the next time I came in. That’s the small business attitude you will never get at chains. Love this place. Tell a friend!

Ugh this place is sooooooo good. I can not emphasize this enough. My go to spot when people mention their favorite mexican foods. Kind of in a hole in the wall, but hey those seem to be the best places! Love it!

We eat here at least twice a month. The Baja tacos are delicious and I’m a huge fan of the San Diego Burrito. The service is great and they consistently produce high-quality food.

If I could give this place 20 stars I would! The food is absolutely 100% awesome. I usually order Al pastor tacos: 1) the food is always served hot out the kitchen 2) the al pastor isn’t dry or burnt. 3) Their salsa is always on point. 4) Great portions with great prices. Also the customer service is above and beyond. The lady who helped me today was very bubbly. She definitely makes people feel welcome. I am becoming a regular now! Lol

It was my first time eating here and me and my boyfriend ordered the asada fries and they were SO good! I also got the chili relleno burrito and it was not good at all! The batter was so thick and the pepper was so small. They put so much brand and rice in it to cover it up. I will def only get the fries next time. Oh and there is no salsa bar which sucks.

The food is good, at least what I have had, but the burritos don’t keep well. The pico de gallo, or whatever they put in them, makes the tortilla soggy. We had ordered the food to pick up and take home, and the tortillas got a little soggy in that time, but my dad couldn’t eat his right away so we put it away from him and the whole thing was soggy and generally unpleasant when he ate it. But people who work there are totally nice and the food is good(when eaten soon after ordering), which is why I did four instead of three starts. It felt more like a 3.5 in my heart. Hahaha.

Good mexican food at a reasonable price. Fast and friendly service. The dinning area is a little small but, take out is a great option.

The place is simple and casual like the regular fast food joints. Service was quick. The lady at the counter explained every vegetarian option from their menu board including the ingredients. Complimentary chips and salsa were served as soon as we ordered. We ordered a burrito for each one of us and ended up packing half of it to go. They were giant sized burritos. There were three options for the burrito wrap of which we ordered the spinach wrap. Both the types of vegetarian burritos we ordered were so good. Just the food one wants when he/she is hungry. Honestly, did not expect such good quality food when I walked into this place. I do now.

WOW! probably one of the best taco/burrito/mexican food in the East Bay, that is if ladies of the house makes it, there are days when the guys are cooking/preparing the food, it’s not as tasty as the ladies cooking/preparation(it’s dryer) …

I was torn in giving a 3 or 4 star to this place but since I’ve never had carne asada CURLY fries, I had to just give them the 4 stars just for that and of course the wonderful ladies who took care of us while we were there. Los Tacos is off of Clayton Rd in the same plaza as Luigi’s Delicatessen. There’s a lot of parking but it will get busy by 11:30am for sure as everyone is getting their lunch! We opted to go a little before 11:30 and no one was there. I was there for one reason only… carne asada fries. So I got a medium soda too as I was sure I would need something bubbly and sweet to combat with the saltiness and savory of the fries. We sat down and got a basket of chips. If you know me, chips are my achilles. You get a choice of mild, medium, or spicy salsa which is on the counter. I munched on maybe a few chips and the main event was placed in front of me. I didn’t realize that what I was about to get was curly fries. I was happy with it. Curly fries always takes me back to college with IB Hoagies. Anyways, the carne asada fries were slathered in nacho cheddar cheese(which in retrospect I should have asked to place on the side), sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, and of course carne asada pieces. The carne asada was good on its own. It was well seasoned. But altogether the dish sang to me but a little too salty but again I had that soda chaser to help. I don’t know what happened but my plate was empty and I was in a food coma. Good thing it’s fairly quiet in the office and I could tend to my food baby. It was great to have tried this dish once before I left Concord. I’m going to definitely miss the Mexican food here. But at least it’s en route from Tahoe!

STEAKCURLYFRIES! what else do I need to say? Lol Regular steak fries are already delicious enough but steak CURLY fries really just make a difference. Especially how they use nacho cheese instead of regular shredded cheese. Be prepared to be sleep after eating this. I got the nacho cheese on the side and added regular cheese on top. It was perfect cause i was able to control the cheese on my fries. And also had cheese to dip my chips in like nachos :) I really like their horchata here too. You get to pour your own horchata and it’s already cold so that you don’t need ice. And we all know ice eventually waters down the horchata so it doesn’t have that fresh taste anymore. The horchata was sweet just the way I like it and it isn’t grainy from the cinnamon like how other places would make it. Unfortunately the CA burrito was salty. Otherwise very satisfied w my meal! Def coming back!

Currently waiting for my grandma’s requested Pancho’s Burrito, with Asada. I’ve been here before way back when I remember my burrito was on point. They offer a choice of meat, choice of beans and choice of tortilla. I appreciate a place that allows any type of customization. As I’m waiting for my to go order there are three people in line and two people were in front of me. Foot traffic is always a good sign. The prices here are fair and the menu is pretty big. I’m hella fascinated with the speciality burrito options. Breakfast Burrito with mushrooms and Peppers Boby Burrito with tri-tip and shrimp Cali Burrito with curly fries Machaca Burrito with stredded smokes beef and peppers All under 10 $ And they have Dorito’s Nachos which I make at home, they charge $ 8.99 for those and they come with meat, salsa, guac and sour cream. Sounds like the perfect treat. What I like most about this space is that you can tell that the people who work and own the place care about the place. It’s clean, they welcome you with a smile and everything is being prepared in front of your eyes so you know it’s fresh. Currently there is the amazing aroma and chicken being grilled. I’ll be back for my own burrito sometime this week, for now I’ll just have a bite of Gram’s.

Their tacos dorado are some of the best I’ve had. Worth the wait. Asada is heavily seasoned, carnitas under seasoned but really well crisped like good bacon. Chicken and pastor are excellent. T Housemade tortilla shells! They need a front of house manager. Tables not bussed and dirty, with lots of people waiting.

The first Mexican restaurant/taqueria that I’ve been to in this area with Cali burritos but they use curly fries instead of regular fries. I didn’t try it bit had the tri tip steak burrito that was good. The rice was nice and butterey. It had nice portion of long strips of steak. I also had 2 soft carnitas tacos and they were a bit too crunchy for my liking but I liked that they top the tacos with grilled onions. Service was nice and friendly but it did take a bit to get the food but understandable since they were busy for lunch.

On the hunt for a California Burrito comparable to home in SD. Saw that this location had carne asada fries and california burritos, sounds like SoCal to me! Actually ordered both Carne Asada Fries and California Burrito because why not? First impression was that the ingredients mentioned for both sounded pretty close to what I have in SD(minus the pico de gallo in the burrito and using curly fries). Not too sure why they chose to use curly fries over regular fries. Point on using regular fries is the crispiness that you cant get with curly fries or steak fries. All the sauces i.e. sour cream, guac and carne asada meat drippings, get into the fries and instantly make them softer than they were already if you use anything else but regular fries. Not sure what kind of cheese did they use in the carne asada fries, tasted like nacho cheese. Better off using shredded cheddar and allowing the heat from the fries and meat melting it. Speaking of temperature, both meals felt like their fries were old. They were barely warm so they were probably out for a bit or refried. The tortilla they used for the burrito tasted like a tortilla you would buy in a store; a little too stiff and not warm. The food here sounds close to home but doesn’t quite taste like it. I’d say switch out curly fries for regular fries and shredded cheddar vs nacho cheese. I’d come back for the carne asada fries as they weren’t half bad. Still on the hunt for a California Burrito in NoCal.
