Great deals on drinks and food. Some of the food isn’t that spectacular but I usually get the club sandwich or BLT and they are great. I don’t go there at night on the weekends but simply because I’m old and that’s when the kids take over. If I were 21 again I’m sure that I would be there but I’m not so no. I’m more of a late afternoon, early evening guy. Sometimes I’ll go in for the breakfast buffet on the weekends. Love the staff, love the location, love the outdoor seating in the summer, and I love the deals though I could go without the people that the cheap good and drinks bring in but then I’m also brought in by the cheap food and drinks so it’s a catch 22.

I came here for a drink while visiting town. Left my drink in a secluded location at 12:40 to visit the bathroom. When I came back, my drink was gone because staff had thrown it away. I discussed the situation with the staff, who were very understanding, however the staff were too afraid of the owners to do anything to help me. My drink was stolen from me by this restaurant before call. The owners of this restaurant are clearly despicable people who don’t deserve you business, make sure to go somewhere else.

Previously I had a really bad experience here. I think it was just a waitress who wasn’t cut out to handle the entire, packed to capacity patio by herself. Inside the bar, it is what it is. Good place to have a few drinks or watch the game. Really, really reasonable prices. Service inside has been great too. You can’t beat their happy hour. Half price drinks 2−10pm every day. We come here regularly now, but not for the food. We have only had a really cheap, but good, breakfast and a couple decent apps. We have never been in the restaurant. If you’re looking for a low-key atmosphere with a large bar area give this place a chance.

My wife and I ate there following the Traveler’s Beer Half Marathon. The food was very good. Our waitress(and other staff) was attentive. The prices were great! The only thing that keeps me from five stars is that I’d like to try it again sometime. But the one visit we had was a great one.

Very disorganized, shut me off to the entire facility due to an employee not wanting me there. No reason, just superficial bullshit. Been going there for years, but never again.

They get two stars because they have cheap drinks. This place is corny though, go in with low expectations. Nothing quality, just fun people watching and cheap drinks.

I’ve been there several times for lunch and dinner. Their sandwiches and salads are great. Fresh made potato chips are amazing! Great service and great prices!

Tandys is my go to restaurant in the Concord area. They have great daily food specials and happy hour everyday from 2 – 10PM with half off cocktails for everyone, not just girls. This hidden gem also has a friendly staff that practically have my drink ready when they see me walk in the door. The food is always delicious and I have a hard time deciding on what to order every time I go. I recommend the Steak Tips, Mahi Mahi tacos, Roasted Red Pepper and Artichoke dip, General Gao wings and the burgers. I tend to avoid the younger crowd by going earlier in the evening.

Went there spontaneously after leaving another local establishment nearby. Checked out their pub. All their drinks, without top shelf limitations, were half price until 10 pm! Great service, great drinks, great price. 3 stars vs 5 because the bathrooms need some SERIOUS work. Renovations are incomplete and they’re not fitting to the establish.

Went to Tandy’s for my sisters Birthday. When we got there we were greeted by a host who had samples of an appetizer that I was unsure of and a yummy gin and tonic sorbet with mint. Nice touch while waiting. We ended up sitting in the bar which was crowded but not overly loud or unpleasant. We sat at a table that hadn’t been cleared yet. Unfortunately they seemed understaffed and it took at least 10 minutes for a waitress to come over and clear the table. Our waitress wasn’t that friendly and seemed annoyed the whole time. I don’t think she was annoyed with us but something was pissing her off. A nice bonus is that they run happy hour from 4 to 10 everyday and drinks are half price. The drinks came in a big glass which was a nice bonus. The menu was decent and prices fair. We got a buffalo chicken dip appetizer that was really yummy. I had chicken tenders and fries for dinner. It was ok. I didn’t fall in love with the meal. Everyone else got burgers and the steak tip special. I did taste one of the steak tips that was in bourbon sauce and it was very flavorful. Overall it was ok. I would probably go back for another try.

My partner and I were heading back home from a weekend hiking and really wanted to see the World Cup. We pulled off 93 in Concord and were sad to see so few restaurants opened on a Sunday afternoon. Randomly found Tandy’s and were so glad that we did! Great menu. And really great atmosphere. All the televisions had the game on and there were fans dressed up and extremely into the action. They have a huge beer list and I really enjoyed the Stella Cider. Also, it was apparently Happy Hour and all the drinks were half off. Wow! My partner got the Mediterranean Plate and it was huge. Lamb, veggies, hummus, falafal. I tried the po boy sliders and they were amazing. Made with pot roast and very filling. We got a few rounds of drinks and enjoyed the game. The only negative is our waitress ignored us once we finished our food and popped over for a drink order and to ask if we were staying until the end of the game. We wanted to order another appetizer but could never get her attention. The bill was more than reasonable and we left very happy. We’ll definitely stop in again!

Came here once, gave it the benefit of the doubt and came back again. It’s terrible. The atmosphere and management is very shady.

Went there for Sunday breakfast buffet. It was pretty good you order your omelets, french toast and waffles from waitress so it’s fresh. The buffet had the standard beacon, sausage, etc. but it also had pot roast, chicken wings and a couple of deserts very nice selection overall. I guess my only issue was some of the stuff was not that warm but it is a buffet. service was very good and attentive. For $ 8.95 it the best deal in Concord!

If I was rating VALUE alone Tandys would be a 5 star for their generous happy hour times and pricing — everyday 3−8pm 50% off ALL drinks and bar menu. Kids meals are just $ 3. We had bar food wings, beer battered shrimp, cheese sticks, etc. all were great. This will be our new favorite place prior to Capital Center shows

This review is only for the bar at night… I have never eaten here during the day. This place is like every other bar/wannabe club that as opened in this spot. It might as well be called Capitol Grille 2. It’s full of wannabe gangstas who live in the ‘mean streets’ of Concord, NH. Lots of white trash girls dancing to Nicki Minaj or anyone else that sucks. The only cool thing about the place is that you can play Beer Pong. However that’s if you don’t mind being around Affliction shirt wearing douches or UFC wannabe thugs. I think every so often they will put on a ‘club night’ here where some unknown local DJ or unknown DJ from Boston will come and play and they will print some flyers of some hot girl who has never even heard of Concord, let alone Tandys… makes the kids feel like they are in a real club. If you’re drinking and driving. watch out there are a slew of bored cops waiting outside waiting for some classless scum to fight or do something not-intelligent. Come here is: you’ve had rough day at your job and you are feeling low about yourself… it will be a reminder that your life could be worst. During the day they have an outside seating area and a decent happy hour… that’s one star I guess. However the clientele and the events that they hold here at night drag it down… smarten up and class it up a bit.

Tandy’s Top Shelf is Concord’s newest bar and restaurant, located in the former Capitol Grille/Concord Grille space in Eagle Square. The place was redone and the layout is similar to its predecessor with the comfortable main bar area/lounge with TVs, as well as the separate dining rooms and function room. Outside patio seating during nicer weather. There’s also live music, DJ, and dancing here at night. Lunch and dinner are served daily. See the menu at
Some highlights on the menu include crab & scallop fritters, scallop & asparagus baked brie, Catalina taco salad, garlic shrimp with pesto linguini, BBQ kiebasa, Mediterranean platter, steak tips, chicken bruschetta bake, turkey pot pie, boneless ribs, and T-bone steak. The prices are pretty affordable, sandwiches under $ 10 and entrees $ 9.99-$ 16.99 range. For desserts, they have cake, cheesecake, bread pudding, strawberry rhubarb pie, and sundaes. They also have a $ 3 kids menu with drink included. At the bar, they offer a full line of drinks & cocktails, as well as wine and 8 beers on tap(Bud Light, Stella, Sam Adams, Coors Light, Guinness, Tuckerman’s Long Trail & Magic Hat). I stopped in for dinner after work and took a seat in the bar area. The bartender took care of my needs and I started out with a Sprite and some Nacho Momma’s Nachos($ 9.49). These nachos were pretty decent, which had warm crisp tortilla chips topped with taco beef, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and sweet salsa. This was like having a big taco salad! For dinner, I had the Cajun Whitefish($ 9.99) served with a side of cheddar broccoli and rice, which was pretty alright. The piece of grilled fish was soft and flaky, but the spicy flavors were lacking. The rectangular entrée dish was dominated by the broccoli cheddar and rice side which had a dense and clumpy texture and actually very filling to eat. I would’ve much preferred a different side to go with the fish. I was pretty full and passed on dessert. The service was adequate with my waitress delivering the food in a timely manner and checking up on me a few times. One of the owners, Greg was already in the bar overseeing things and he came over to say hello. Greg seemed pretty enthusiastic about this new venture. He is living the dream of several of my «20-something» friends of operating their very own bar and grill. It’s a lot of hard work and responsibility. Overall, a decent meal in a good comfortable bar setting. I definitely would return here again to try out some of the other menu items and to check out the night scene. Tandy’s Top Shelf is a good addition to the limited nightlife in the Concord area(Bow counts too!)
