Terminal Shoe Repair

Friendly service, reasonable prices — and if the repair is not quite right, the owner will make it right. I have been coming here since we moved to the area in the early 70s. Tried other repair shops once or twice — but returned here for the convenience and good service. I think the ownership may have changed several years ago but the service did not. With the price of shoes these days, it does pay to repair shoes that still have some life in them.

This is a great business! I brought in two pairs of shoes to see if he could stretch them a bit, since they were both new leather shoes and still kind of stiff. He told me he’d put them on the stretchers for two days. The price was $ 5 per shoe – a great deal! My feet are always sore because I can never find shoes wide enough that won’t cause blisters. He was very knowledgeable about shoes and feet. He was very nice and personable. The shoes I brought in fit me much better now. One pair I may bring back because it is still a bit stiff in my right shoe. He said he wouldn’t charge me if I need to bring the same pair back to be put on the stretcher longer, so that allows me to try them out for a few days and then take them back if they still need work without being worried that I’ll be charged extra. I will definitely go back to get all my shoes stretched!
