The Tot Spot

As a new parent, this is only the second day care center I have experience with. That said, we shopped around a lot and in comparison to the one center our son went to for 5 months, and the other’s we have visited, the Tot Spot is exceptional! Our son has been attending the Tot Spot for 2 months, and our whole family loves it.
The Tot Spot follows a Montessori-​style learning environment mixing older and younger (the age difference is only from 1 – 3 years) kids so that the older ones help and model behavior/​activies for the younger ones.
My son comes home CLEAN, happy, and tired the two days/​week that he goes there. The facilities, staff interaction, and curriculum match the most expensive day care centers in the area and the Tot Spot costs significantly less.
The staff is professional and loving. He has a notebook that we use to communicate with his teachers: they update it DAILY with diaper changes, details on what and how much he ate at his lunch and snack times, as well as a fun note about his activities throughout the day.

We didn’t send our son after touring the school and originally wanting to send him. Day care centers you have to very particular of and watch closely. This place is a very politically correct and wasn’t for us. My eyes were burning after reading their enrollment contract. No way.
