Tj Fade’s

This is the place that I go for haircuts. It’s great. Tj does a great job. Real chill atmosphere. Classic barber shop. I recommend coming here if you want a fade or a shave.

Called in asking how long the wait is and the response on the phone was «do you want a cut or not?» Havin a bad day or are you guys just dicks?

Called to ask a question and got a bad attitude from the guy on the phone. I still tried to be nice and said, «well I’m really happy you’re open on Sundays,» but the guy responded with a whatever groan and hung up on me. I’d rather miss a day of work and go to a real barber shop than to go here if that’s what their attitude is.
UPDATE 4÷27÷16: Got a private message from King C (who has left a review for the shop saying how great it is; not sure if Unilocal allows employees and/​or owners to leave reviews for their shops) calling me a coward for leaving a Unilocal review instead of talking to them. Why didn’t I talk to you? Because you guys already made it clear you didn’t want to talk to me when you hung up on me.
Call me a coward for calling you out? Grow up man. Sorry I hurt your feelings being honest about your poor customer service. I have a business too. Yes, I’ve recieved bad reviews due to poor communication or not fulfilling the customers needs (not as many as you though), but if I contact the customer, I’ll start with an apology and end it with, «what can I do to make you happy?»
I don’t call my customers cowards for writing reviews. If there’s something wrong with my business, I’d like to know rather than try to guess why no one comes and sees me anymore (your future if you keep up this attitude). You can do better. Hopefully you don’t take this as an insult and you learn and grow from it.

don’t matter if you get Chris or TJ, the cut is always clean, and you’ll always get lined up straight. $ 10 tuesdays are cool if you’re on a budget, but i always come in on friday so i can avoid that line.

Found TJ on Unilocal about a year ago. Always found time to fit me in. At TJ fades you get more than just a hair cut. You get a little comedy, current events and basic culture in a friendly and accepting atmosphere. All 4 of my boys go to TJ. It a part of our ritual.

This place is a joke. The owner does a good job at cutting hair but a terrible job of running a business! This place is not reliable at all. You can show up on any given day during business hrs and half of time the place will be closed. You have to call ahead to check if they’re open and even then you are likely to waste your time driving up there. Why? Cause apparently the owner changed his mind and just felt like closing up shop. This isn’t something that’s happened once but rather on several occasions. No place is that good that you need to put up with that bulls**t. Save your time and money!

Was looking for a new spot to call home for my haircuts, did research on Unilocal and thought I’d give them a shot. Chris is the man! Very professional and really chill and a cool personality. He knows how to give a awesome haircut! Can’t speak for TJ but Chris is a great barber that treat’s everyone equal and like they are number #1. I will definitely be back to see Chris for all my haircut needs!!!

Decided to go to a barber shop for the first time and I’m very glad I came here. TJ is hilarious and really nice. My haircut is super clean and looks/​feels great. Even though I live an hour away I plan on coming back here whenever I’m in town to visit my mum

First time I ever went to a barber it was the best there the barber was chill guy and he fixed my hair because I asked for a cut I didn’t have the hair for and he ended up fixing it and giving me a better new look

This dude tj needs a reality check. Running a business with that attitude towards your customers. Uneven cuts with no straight edge, can’t even back up the shit talk with some hands on the clippers.

It is Sunday and TJ stayed lat err to accommodate my two boys who were running late from playdates. Great barber, friendly and inexpensive. Hard to find a decent barber. Will bring a four of my guys back.

Needed a quick fix and they hooked it up clean! Coo spot and you can’t beat the price!

Best hair cut ever. I can’t recommend this establishment highly enough. Friendly people, relaxed environment, two televisions and comfortable seating while you wait. Don’t waste your money at one of those chains, try TJ’s Fades and you’ll never go anywhere else again.

Barber was rough with the haircut, as in he was jerking the chair back and forth a lot and brushing aggressively in my face. The cut wasn’t even. I had to clean it up myself at home. It felt like I wasn’t welcome.

Been getting my haircut here for years. TJ and the crew (Jake, Chris), are pros at their work. They take pride in their haircuts and it shows. Great deals on Tuesday and Wednesday $ 10 haircuts. They also don’t have a set closing time. I have gotten my haircut at 9pm before. They work with you. Haircuts are clean and the line and trim facial hair. This will always be my spot. If you like to trash talk. This is the place. Great conversations and funny go between the barbers. Feels like a old school neighborhood barbershop. Always feels good when I leave. Try them out you won’t be disappointed.
