SOooooooooo. today I was at my second home, Trader Joes, cause, well, I live close by and all. If it wasn’t for T.J.s I’d probably starve. I was talking to some way cool people in the store today, customers and TJ’s employees. Soooooo.I am upfront at the register, and prior to that there is a old women in line behind me, she drops a quarter, I being the person that I am, pick up the quarter and give it to her, she thanks me… Then I’m talking to Christine at the register, and the old women turns nasty and mean and rude and impatient and says to me ‘EXCUSEMEYOURHOLDINGUPTHELINE.‘ After I had picked up her quarter and given it back to her, old impatient lady, did I not just give you back your quarter that fell on the ground. So. right before I left I turned to her and said“ Never say/do that.“ Later this evening I went back to TJ’s and told Captain Marie what had happened, I’m sick and tired of people being rude to me ESPECIALLYAFTER I DOTHEM A FAVOR, OLDLADYIFYOUREADTHIS I AMDOINGWHAT I CANTOMAKESURETHATYOURNEVERSHOPHEREEVERAGAIN… NEVERDOTHAT!!! Thanks TJ’s for being one of my homes, and thanks in advance Christine for giving your side of the story, TJ’s is still my store.

Great place, I guy here all the time no where else. The locations are all over the area and it’s really nice products. They have nice ice cream section and would recommend to try some of them. Also they have great healthy product organic store and price is high but if you want to keep your health it’s worth it.

I regularly shop at this Trader Joes for all my grocery needs(along with Sprouts). Prices at this location are very competitive & its nice to see that they have separate organic food selection/stand as well. I’ve shopped at Trader Joes since 2002, starting from a store in sacramento and other places and now at this store and probably will in the future at nearby location. Even though they don’t have tons of products compared to other big chains around they have excellent varieties for a quick stop. Of course they have the 2-buck chuk(well now its $ 2.49)…which is absolute best. The wine is not bad at all we have tried all varieties the store has to offer from groceries to wine, it’s all good. They also have little sampling stand that serves excellent items. All of the staff are really helpful both stocking and checkout employees which makes this store stand out even more. The parking lot can be really tricky at times it is tiny for sure, share with a lot of other businesses next door. This is not a big store but they do have more than enough to fulfill your typical grocery needs + wine… My only bad experience(in 1yr of shopping, almost every other day) with the store is with one young rude employee. She couldn’t be bothered with a patron standing in the line while she was gossiping with fellow employee another gal complaining and when it s my turn she was snappy. 1 Star loss because of this incident.

My favorite TJ’s in the area(and also my favorite in California… hard to beat those shmancy Oregon ones). :-) This place has the coolest folks working here, the most generous sample set up, and the quickest moving lines. It’s equidistant for me from the one in WC, so when I want to treat myself I’ll go out to this one after getting a ton of fresh veggies from Food Maxx out in Concord. If you look closely enough, you’ll occasionally find amazing deals on alcohol here. I stocked up on enough Stoli Gala Apple in the fall to last me through the apocalypse(a $ 10 handle of Stoli? no shame there). Because this one is in Concord, they’ll also give you paper bags for free, which is a nice little perk after living in WC and having gotten used to walking out of stores dropping things on the way to my car. No way I’m *buying* a bag every time I go shopping! I visit this store at least a couple times a week. No plans on stopping anytime soon!

Nice size shop easy to navigate. I love the rotating specialty stock according to season and popularity. My favorite time of year is October when all of the fall and pumpkin items come out. They have so much warm and cozy items that really make you feel the season, even when you don’t have fall weather where you live. They have a wide assortment of items which are reasonably priced along with a few specialty items. Plus they are located next to Chipotle and Pet Food Express, I have made many trips to this shopping center and it is very continent to make a trip of all three of them.

Trader joes is the best! If you shop there then you’re blessed! If you haven’t shopped there then I’m so sorry. You’ve been missing out.

I love Trader Joes, I’m here weekly but was seriously disappointed for the second time yesterday. I am very obviously pregnant and the checker put ALL of my items in ONE bag. I had a cart, not a basket and should not be forced to carry a super heavy bag. This is the second time this has happened at this location. I don’t know if this is poor training or lack of common sense but something should be done about it.

Everyone here is usually very helpful and cheerful. Today was totally different. SANDY was very rude and snapped at me when I asked her a questions about the food she was giving out samples for today. Sandy you need to work on your customer service skills & get better attitude !

Wow, I thought I reviewed this place already. Must have been the other Trader Joes. What can I say, it’s Trader Joes, one of my favorite places to pick up groceries for a reasonable price. I love there seasonal items and enjoy sampling the products of the day. I miss their plain pizza crust and look forward to using the new product I heard was coming to a store near you, I mean who doesn’t love homemade pizza.

This is a great Trader Joe’s, not too crampt and a good amount of parking. The flower, booze and organic selections are especially large(must be why I like this neighborhood!). If you are new to TJ’s, this would be a great one to sample as your first!

One of the best Trader Joes’ I’ve been to! Somehow I like the Californian Trader Joes better than the New York ones. Maybe because they don’t separate the wine and food sections in CA, who knows…

Love the Trader Joe’s in Concord. The place has everything good and healthy, and not so healthy options also. I love the selection of fruit and nuts in the store. The produce is always good.

It’s nice to have a Trader Joe’s around here. Like all Trader Joe’s, it’s a good place to find more hard-to-find food items/items you wouldn’t normally find in Safeway. It’s also a good place to find items to try, because you wouldn’t have thought of it. Staff is friendly here.

Trader Joe’s, despite having a nationwide presence has maintained the feel of a local store with unique products and friendly service. This location however is somewhat hidden in a small strip mall where parking is limited. Once inside though it is clean and the aisles can accommodate shoppers well enough.

One of the best Trader Joe’s I have ever seen. Since all Trader Joe’s carry essentially the same items, this means that this location isn’t quite as crowded or crazy as any of the other ones I have been to. Ditto for the parking lot. So refreshing to go shopping at Trader Joe’s and still be able to navigate your cart through the aisles!

I absolutely love Trader Joe’s and do 90% of my shopping with them, however, this location is probably my least favorite. This location appears to be slightly smaller than other Joe’s, leaving it having more of a crampt feeling(especially the exterior location with it being in a tiny shopping center with only minimal parking) though they do seem to have the basic selection of items as in all Joe’s however, with a slightly smaller wine selection. Service at this location is still above ordinary compared to any large corporate chain such as Safeway and you still experience that humbled, unique, personable feel when coming here just like most Trader Joe’s, just a little more of a rushed feel compared to others. Parking can be an absolute pain, especially during school hours(high school is located just a street down). I just get the since that everyone(mostly customers) seems to be in a rush, which goes against the care free, relaxed Trader Joe’s feel, that you experience at there other locations(just to me) Other than that, I still do most my shopping here being I now live close by. Miss my other convenient local Trader Joes locations, however, this will do.
