Love this option in Concord. Comfortable, has board games.

Cool viking statue but you need employees. Wickkkkked slow. 1pm on a Monday. Place is packed. Four parties in line. One girl working the register and making coffee. A couple people couldn’t wait anymore and left. Insanely slow. The chick disappeared at one point. Breakfast sandwich was amazing.

Love Tru Brew. Overall wonderful little gem in downtown concord. A curtain by the door to keep old man winter out would be a nice addition, along with adding some fun ambiance. Iv seen it done in Boston at some nice places. You feel valued as a customer that the cold air does not steal the steam from ur $ 3.00 perfect chia. Cheers!

Awesome coffee,(love the espresso) nice calm atmosphere, and the barista was super nice. A great, cozy little coffee shop, especially at night when it’s not overly crowded.

Great coffee and friendly, knowledgeable employees. Comfy seating, though since the seating is mostly large plush couches that can feel awkward sharing with a stranger, there actually aren’t as many places to sit as the large space would suggest. Half of the café is the coffee shop, and the opposite side is a bar, but each side has its own separate space and vibe. Prices were perhaps a bit high for an independent café but not outrageous — comparable to what you’d pay at Starbucks, but you’re getting a lot more character and supporting a local business!

Chill spot. Played Concordopoly on the couches while enjoying some of their seasonal coffee

It’s kind of difficult to get to if you’re driving. It was $ 6.45 for a large(16 ounce?) chai latte with almond milk although I received a $ 0.45 discount for paying cash. The staff was super nice and the venue was swanky, but dark. The drink itself was not so great. I’d order something else next time.

I appreciate the response from the owner, but I don’t appreciate the patronizing tone. I don’t own a coffee shop, but I know coffee. There was no real point in bringing my issue up with the«clerk». You really can’t instantly remake a cold brewed coffee now can you? In the end, it doesn’t really matter. You won’t miss my business.

This is a great local place, with great coffee, wonderful(though limited) breakfast options, and after-hours drinks and entertainment to boot. It’s a comfortable place to sit while you enjoy your food, including outside in Bicentennial Square during the warmer months. The only complaints I can come up with are that it would be nice to see some lighter interior colors to make up for the dim light, and taking payment at time you place your order would eliminate the need for customers to stand by the register while their order is prepared. Stop in, you’ll like it!

Great local coffee shop! Love the little touches such as the coffee bean shaped pillows and the antique tin ceilings. They have solid, good coffee and great staff. It’s places like these that make me choose independent coffeehouses over Starbucks. I would like them to have more of a food selection like bagels and cream cheese, but otherwise a superb place.

Wow, well this place seems to be more polarizing than Gwyneth Paltrow watching a Fox News segment on LeBron James. And while I can’t comment on the venue as a nightlife hotspot, the barista side sure did do the trick for a quick caffeine fix in Concord. And here’s the thing: compared to anything else, this is like a shining beacon of hope for delicious coffee in Concord and for coffee culture in New Hampshire. Is it there yet? Mmm, not quite. But when McDonald’s and Starbucks make the state’s «top 10 coffee shop» lists, you gotta start somewhere! And True Brew definitely has all the right building blocks, namely the fact(beyond the locally sourced beans of course) that it doesn’t hide behind a cutesy bean pun name, it supports patrons bringing in their laptops(although the FAQ page on their website proves that this is hot button topic), and it does, as some might say, «fancy» coffee, that leans slightly more toward pour overs and aeropress instead of, let’s say, mocha mint toffee tambourine sprinkle macchiatos. Overall, I really dig what they are doing and while I’d be lying if I said my coffee blew me away, I would absolutely return again.

Great, quirky spot in Concord. I’ve only had the coffee, but they do a great job. Great staff.

Worst latte ever. Not only did the espresso in my latte taste like watered down coffee and NOT espresso, my boyfriends mug had a perfect lipstick lip print on it. Honestly would drink a Dunkins latte over this place any day. I don’t even like Dunkins.

Been here several times… Every time I think it will be a different experience and it’s not. Horrible customer service. My husband and I left after sitting at an empty bar for several minutes without any acknowledgement from any of the several employees behind the bar. Will not be back, I mean it this time.

Great place for a real cup of coffee. Not many of those places exist in Concord. Nightlife brings in good bands on the weekend too. Good selection of craft beers. Bartenders can be a bit standoff-ish but that’s typical for a coffee house.

This place is one of the only reasons I come to Concord at all. The atmosphere is cozy, the drinks are delicious and the prices are reasonable. I’m typically a daytime patron so though I’m aware of their bar and their live music potential I’ve never myself experienced it. This is my favorite coffee shop in New Hampshire and I miss it dearly.

Holy heck, this place went downhill! I have been to this place many times over the least few years. It was always a great time. There was good live music, great beer selection and a very good barstaff. I came in last Saturday Night and all I can say is it is a different bar. The vibe was so different than it has been in the past. There were new bartenders, and they are completely rude, rude, rude. The service was slow and one girl was so bitchy to me and my friend it was ridiculous. I was astonished at how downhill this place went. We left after 2 drinks and went to another bar. I will never go back to True Brew after the way I was treated on Saturday.

Menu limited but pretty good. There are two sides of restaurant — one more coffeehouse like and one more bar-like with small stage. The place had open mic night I was there and I liked musicians who played. The food was good but menu limited. Coffee also good. They poured good lattes.

First of all, fellow Unilocalers, this shop does have plentiful WiFi(no outlets). During the day, a homey coffee joint with smiley service, wood floors, classic tin ceiling with dangling long lights serves a solid brew with rotating organic beans from local roasters, light breakfast food, and a smattering of baked good. In the evening, the back room’s couches fill with folk who frequent the recently added alcohol bar and music room. Perhaps they recently did a renovation, but to the reviewer below, they now have 3 bathrooms!
