One of the best places for vegan in NH. A menu full of delicious options and daily specials that are always amazing as well. The food is always brought out in a timely fashion, great service wonderful people I highly recommend this place

Over 15 people and I had a big lunch here today 4÷22÷16) as a celebration to NH’s bobcat win! We had a marvelous time. Everyone had different plates but I can tell you the lasagna was delicious! It was so tasty and made with vegan based everything… including nutritional yeast based«cheese» — it was really really good. Just writing it makes me want to go right back there for more. Willows made us appetizers and(Asian veggie wraps with a really delicious sauce) everything was served in perfect time. It’s a byob restaurant so we brought champagne for the group and Willows had special wine glasses ready and waiting for us and it really made a difference. Our waiter was excellent and I think it was Willow herself who helped me carry out a couple of heavy coolers to my car after our function(and my car wasn’t parked right outside the door!) It was excellent — the whole experience. I highly recommend this place! I have included a couple pics.

Stopped by here yesterday for the first time as a «sit down» experience. I had gotten take-out from here once before and it was excellent so figured I would stop in for lunch. The menu is kind of small but the selection is very decent, I was stuck on what to order because quite a few meals sounded really good. The second that our waiter(who was nothing but pleasant and friendly) said that the special that day was lasagna I was sold. The lasagna was fantastic. The portion for it was huge, and the rest of my plate was filled with salad, everything was really great food wise. Our waiter was awesome too, and the prices one everything were really great. I was extremely impressed. I would give this place five stars other than how loud the kitchen staff people were that day. I give the chefs kudos for making great food, but they were talking and laughing so loud it was almost ridiculous. That and, not so much a major complaint, but aesthetically the dining area needed a décor and interior make-over. The walls were/are light purple with a random ocean/sea theme? The tables are also really low/small which was weird but not a huge deal. Pros: great food, good service, good prices, recommend & will be back again. Cons: the inside dining area needs a make-over, and the kitchen staff dinldnt have indoor voices that particular day(I don’t see this as anyone else’s complaint, so I’m assuming it was just a one time thing)

Great food! Yes it’s vegetarian but that doesn’t matter. It’s simply delicious and creative. –Randy

Wonderful vegan food straight out of places like Brooklyn, right in Concord, NH. Not something I was expecting to find, but now that I have, I know I’ll be back. Incredibly fast service, they whipped up a seitan wrap for me in less than 5 minutes, so I could get back on the road and eat on my drive down to Boston. Absolutely great, flavorful, and well crafted food. I’ll be back, for sure.

Bottom line: it’s okay. Let me start by saying that I am a vegan, and am very happy to have a nearby vegan option. I just find the whole place a bit lacking, and it’s disappointing. The décor and atmosphere is very awkward — sterile lights, weird pastel walls, uncomfortable furniture– and not very inviting. The food is okay, the Jazzy Jones being the highlight, and the menu is short and boring. Also, the prices are really high for the size of the servings, and I swear each time my Jazzy Jones is smaller and smaller. I’m picky when it comes to restaurants, and I just expected more. Hopefully they figure it out! In the meantime, I am happy to support a vegan eatery despite my disappointments. If I wasn’t a vegan, or it wasn’t so close to me, I wouldn’t make the effort to go so often. I’d rather the drive to Susty’s most days.

After reading awesome reviews I came to Willows with my husband & our friend. We were greeted right away and it felt very welcoming. I had the lasagna with mushrooms, kale & onions, yum! My husband had the black bean burger & he really liked it. Food came out fresh and fast. I loved the purple walls, calming music & ocean art work. We will be making stops here more often. Great vegan food!

I’ve been coming here since it opened. It’s my favorite place to eat, and some of the best vegan food I’ve ever had. There’s not a single thing on the menu I don’t love.

Visited today for the first time and I was«wow’d»! I live in Concord and did not even know that this gem existed – more advertisement is needed. I enjoyed the soup and a wrap and my husband(carnivore) loved the lasagna. The food was amazing! The décor was nicely done and the place was spotless. We will be back!

i went in on a saturday around 2pm with a group of friends. it wasn’t busy so we got seated right away. the menu was a bit limited. my friends ordered for me as i went outside to deal with a flat tire, so i can’t say how the wait staff went, but i didn’t hear any complaints so i’m assuming it was good. i got a sandwich that came with a pickle on the side… the pickle was 2 inches long, and not a regular sandwich sized pickle. the plates looked bare because the meals were so small. it wasn’t really worth the price. the food was tasty though. we went out of our way to go to concord and try this place, but we won’t go out of our way again.

First time I’ve had shepherds pie(Jazzy Jones) since I went vegan. It was delicious and the serving was just the right size. Wife had a salad with a tasty dressing. If we’re in the area again we will definitely stop in again.

The food here is AMAZING — get the lasagna if they have it. It is gluten free and filling and just so good! The waiter was super nice and the seating area is nice too. Good for larger groups too. The food came out really fast.

The menu was fantastic and offered many delicious sounding plates. My mom and I decided to split the TLT sandwich which consisted of bacon-flavored tempeh, avocado, lettuce, and tomato on whole grain bread with veganaise. I typically don’t eat vegan food made to taste like meat but the tempeh bacon was really delicious. In fact, the whole sandwich was delicious, and it came with a small side of tortilla chips. The only downside to the experience was the wait. The place wasn’t very crowded and it took forever for our single sandwich to come out. I’m usually patient and don’t mind waiting a bit for food, but this seemed like an exceptionally long wait time. Also, it was a bit overpriced, and for the cost I would have liked more chips, a pickle, and/or some other side. For a drink I had a smoothie of mango, coconut, and banana. It was delicious, but also pricey. The surroundings were colorful and there was nice work by a local artist on the wall. Despite these criticisms, I certainly would go back to try the other menu items. Also, as a vegan I desperately want this place to succeed so I encourage other vegans who have criticisms about the place to gently provide feedback so that it can improve and remain in business.

I’ve never found a restaurant more accepting, peaceful and delicious in all my travels! Willows Plant-Based Eatery(WPBE) is the hot spot of Concord, NH! I am a carnivore and would choose WPBE over any restaurant in the area. Rumor has it Willow(the main cook, boss, and overall wonderful young woman) is hoping to open soon for DINNER a few nights of the week with BYOB too! Fingers crossed. Each thing from the beautifully illustrated ‘specials’ chalkboard, to the calming tunes in the background, to the freshly baked vegan peanut butter/‘chocolate chip’ cookies makes each moment at WPBE more delicious and special then the time before. Can’t wait to get back soon!

This is the place for an excellent vegan lunch. Willow, the proprietor, has taken great care in developing an inviting menu that is sure to satisfy the vegan diner. Sorry no options for your carnivorous friends but one of these meals and wonderful staff will likely turn them to a vegan life

Like her mom willow has made a great place to eat(vegan or not). I am not a vegan but had traveled to north wood to eat susties. Now I don’t have to trek to north wood to eat a great unique plate of food. Great job willow my wrap was delicious! My only concern was the lack of fritters with a dill sauce but that’s just because it’s my favorite. I would suggest this eatery to any one sick of the concord regular eats.

I came here with my mom and dad(neither of whom are vegetarian) and we were all happy with our selections(with one MINOR exception described below). I got the«TLTA» special which is a smoky tempeh BLT with avocado and veganaise. The tempeh was crispy and the sourdough bread was delicious. Loved my spicy Maine Root ginger beer too. Mom and Dad’s soups(Beans & Greens and Split Pea) were very flavorful. Dad was dismayed at first that there was no salt or pepper on the tables. Turns, out they were not needed! Mom got the spring rolls with rice noodles, mint, cucumber and peanut dipping sauce. She felt they were bland and needed something extra to boost their flavor. Dad loved his Northeast burger(black bean something or other). Attentive service and bright, casual atmosphereOverall we were happy and satisfied! I will be back!

The short review is that this place was enjoyable. It’s an all vegan luncheon café in downtown Concord New Hampshire. Only open around midday. It recently opened prior to my visit. Affordable and all fresh and natural. I had a rice noodle-vegetable salad. My three friends and I took a bite of each other’s meal and the Curried peas were fabulous. I will order those the next time I visit and I will visit again. Vegetable and fruit smoothies also available.

Willows Plant-Based Eatery opened recently(serving lunch only) in the former Spoon Revolution Vegan Bistro. Similar to its predecessor, Willows offers a variety of prepared vegan food using fresh, natural and organic ingredients, some items are gluten free. The place was redone with a fresh coat of lavender paint and framed artwork on the walls, red and purple tables and cushioned wooden chairs. The owner Willow is also the daughter of the owner of Sustys Café in Northwood. For vegan food, they offer soups($ 5-$ 7), salads($ 8-$ 10), sandwiches & wraps($ 7.50-$ 9), hearty bowls($ 12-$ 16), small desserts, fruit juices/smoothies, organic sodas, chai, coffee & tea drinks. Specials are offered here. Frozen entrees to go are also available. I had lunch here recently. I ordered the South West($ 9), which was a lentil-walnut veggie burger, lettuce, tomato, red onion, jalapenos, vegenaise spread on soft honey wheat bread, watermelon slice on the side. The good sized sandwich tasted very good and fresh. The homemade pattie was grilled soft with great flavors. For dessert, I had a Cookie($ 2.50) which was a soft crumbly peanut butter chocolate chip, sweetness just right. Overall, the food was excellent and the service was very prompt and friendly. This new vegan café will be on my lunch rotation and this place offers a variety of items to choose from instead of picking from only a few daily choices before.
