One of the worst hotels stays that I have ever experienced. I called the hotel directly and booked my stay(4nights). The person that I talked with took my reservation and agreed on my corporate rate. On my arrival the front desk had me down at a different rate and had the last day of my stay at almost three times the corporate rate that I was quoted over the phone. They said that they would speak with their manager and get it figured out. Twenty minutes later I am finally relaxing from a six hour drive and there is a loud banging at my door. I opened my door and was greeted by a very angry redneck wanting to know how I got in his room and if I was with his group. The front desk had given out my room number to this man. The hotel had me affiliated with a group that was not affiliated with my company. Two days later I am told by the front desk that they will honor my corporate rate for all four days of my stay. I get a bill on final morning and the last day was still at their«special event»(NASCAR) rate. I talked with the front desk and yet again they had me down affiliated with the wrong group. I went through it all over again. The manager called me later that day and left a message that my bill was accurate and that they called the event group that I was affiliated with and that they had never heard of me. Why would they know me? For the 14th time… I AMNOTAFFILIATEDWITHTHISGROUP!!! I called the manager Jared back and after going over everything yet again… She gave no apologies for ANY of the issues during the entire stay. I contacted Wingate corporate. I was told that they would investigate and get back with me within a week. Three weeks later I checked my CC statement and the hotel charged me what they thought was my correct price $ 471 and then the following day an additional $ 675. WTF??? I called corporate yet again. They said that I would hear back from them in 24 hours. Nothing. There is a sign on the counter in the bathroom that states, «if you’re not happy with any part of your stay… You don’t pay for it». This is complete BS. As of today I have been given nothing as compensation and, I mentioned this to not only the manager but corporate multiple times. «We’ll get back with you». For the love of God… STAYTHEHELLAWAYFROMTHISHOTEL!!!

My Husband and I stayed here Monday for one night. I truly have no complaints. The front desk staff was very helpful. We had a King Room which was very clean, spacious, and the bed very comfortable. I did not eat any of the breakfast bar the next morning, but did view it upon leaving, and the selection of scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausage, among other items had a very nice presentation. I would gladly stay at this location again.

From last Thursday, March 31st, to Sunday, April 3, 2016, we stayed at the Wingate by Wyndham in Concord, NC. From all first impressions it seemed like a very nice hotel. We were assigned a room on the 3rd floor. As we were unlocking the door, we were startled by the loud barking of a dog coming from a room right down the hall. We immediately went back down to the front desk and requested a room change. The desk clerk was very accommodating and reassigned us a room on the 4th floor. Unbeknownst to us, the entire hotel was infested with dogs. When we reserved the room months ago, we were not told that it was a pet friendly facility. We had booked the room through and no refunds are given for any reason. Needless to say, we couldn’t leave. The next day as we were leaving to attend the wedding rehearsal, the cleaning person asked us if we wanted our room cleaned. I replied, yes please. When we returned, it had been cleaned. On Saturday we attended the wedding and returned late to find the room untouched. The wet towels were still on the floor, the beds were unmade, no toilet paper had been replenished, etc. In the morning we had to go to the front desk and beg for towels and toilet paper. I have never experienced such lack of customer service, and am terribly disappointed. The most we got from the front desk clerk was an apology. I have sent more than 1email to the hotel manager and corporate. No replies have been sent by either. I would not recommend staying there ever.

I arrived after 1 am and was weary from the road. Check in was efficient but the lady told me breakfast ended at 10:30. I went down about 9:45 and it was all packed up. The girl at the front offered to go and see if they had some left but I declined. It ended at 9:30 so I was misinformed. Everything else was great about the stay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the hotel was quite. I would stay again.

This hotel has great promise, goes down hill from there. If you decide to stay here, unplug your phone, they wake you up very early. Being from the west coast having a 5am call(2am my time) is very rude. I spoke to the property manager after the 2nd day… he assured me rhe problem would be solved. Then today another 5:30 am call, he did not follow through. We spoke again at 7am, he was sorry and what could he do to make it better. I suggested he resign, his staff does not respect his managent style. The breakfast buffet has very dry turkey sasage, when I asked about it he said«it was requested». Funny the cook said it was a cost cutting measure and they cut òut bacon. Seems this GM only cares about the bottom line not you vacation experience. Good luck if you stay here. Desk staff is the best reason to stay here they are fantastic

Four stories, interior entrances. Front staff was professional in attire and in how they performed their duties. My king room was large, comfortable bed, strong wifi signal. I originally was going to be there for one night, but with a work change I needed to stay for two. The front desk staffed handled the change with no problems. Free breakfast bar was standard eggs/sausage/cereals/breads. Nice presentation and clean surroundings. Very pleasant stay.

Clean with refrigerator and microwave in room. Across the street from Concorde mills mall with free shuttle.
