My 2 year old had fun playing but we will not be back. The facility is very unclean and unsafe.

My husband and I spent some time with our 6 year old niece and she had a blast at Xtreme Play. It cost $ 8.50 for her admission, and it seemed like a good deal to us. We were there for at least an hour and a half. There were several slide/obstacles for her to run through, and she definitely got some good exercise. There was a decently sized area for 3-years-old and younger kids as well(where older kids aren’t permitted). There seemed to be no employees on duty enforcing the rules, so it was nice when some of the parents watched their kids a little bit and made sure they’re not bullying, being bullied, or playing in an area where they’re not supposed to be. At one point I realized my niece was playing in the little kids section, she didn’t realize it, but I didn’t want her to hurt one of those tater tots. Oops! Tip: Take refillable water bottles and use the water fountain in the back(instead of purchasing water). She definitely needed a ton of water after running around so much. Hopefully it was a fluke, but out of the 3 stalls in the ladies restroom, two of them were out of order. Overall, it was a bouncy good time for our niece, and I think we got some aunt/uncle brownie points in the process.

Just want to write that if you have any needs or requests and call ahead to speak to management you can sometimes get that little extra something that makes your day go a little smoother. I often take my daughter and friends when their parents have to work and having that personal consideration makes a huge difference to me. The kids have tons of fun, I find it to be cleaner than most playgrounds and I always keep an eye on my kids – after all I want to see them having fun!

If you have kids with a lot of energy head over to Xtreme Play. They have large bounce house/slide/obstacle course that are so much fun. It’s located inside Carolina Mall in Concord. I believe there is another location in Monroe as well. Xtreme play is clean, air conditioned and a bit noisy from all the blowers and kids laughter. Depending on the time you go, it could be completely empty(M-F during school) or really crowded(Sat/Sun after school). There is also staff that walks the floor regularly to make sure everything is okay. There are benches everywhere for parents to sit and monitor their child while climbing through and also a lounge with couches and a tv. They have a snack bar and they also sell ice cream bars. There are plenty of pay to ride similar to those outside a grocery store(about 50 cents a ride) but the main attraction is the bounce slides. There are several with an obstacle course that will leave an adult laughing. I’ll admit that I’ve raced through it with my sister(we are both in our 20’s) and had a blast. I usually invite a friend along for my daughter when we go because its more fun to play with a friend then on your own. Quick Tip — bring your own socks; you have to have them and they charge $ 2 a pair for them there. Also look for the Buy One Get One free Coupon in the Charlotte Entertainment book.
