Concordia, KS, who knew? My 18-month-old daughter and I stopped into this great second-hand shop after eating at a great pizzeria down the street. The name says ‘antiques’, but it seems this place also sells all sorts of newer second-hand goods, too. We only spent about five minutes here while my husband was fueling up the car, but here’s the best part: there’s an old horse ride – think the tiny rides you find in malls or Walmarts where you spend $.50 for the car to rock back & forth for a minute – only take yourself back in time a couple of decades. It’s still functioning, and costs only a dime to ride it. I went to the counter to trade in two nickels, and the attendant threw in an extra dime on the house so my daughter could ride it twice. Very cool store, good people, Concordia, I would love to visit again soon.
