Been to this restaurant many times and always had good service and a good meal. Tonight was VERY different. Arrived at 6:15 without a reservation(never had one before for the many times we’ve been there). We were told that there was an hour wait for an outdoor table, but 15 – 20 minutes for an indoor. We chose the indoor and then waited for almost 40 minutes to be seated, even though there were many empty tables. We were seated at 7:01, and at 7:26 we left the table as we hadn’t even had a server come over yet. Maybe it was just a bad night, but we left Rochester at 5:30 and left the restaurant at 7:30, what a waste of a night.

This is good pub food, but the waterfront dining area, amazing. Put the two together and they are 4 !

Great ambiance! A wonderful pace to relax in the shade overlooking beautiful Conesus Lake after a long hot day of riding through Central NY. The«Cabana» Food is what you would expect from a bar, decent quality and portions. Small but decent selection of local micro brews on tap. If it wasn’t for the ambiance food and drink would rate 3 stars. (Please note this is a review of the Cabana Bar Dockside Grill, not the Crab Shack Restaurant and Pub)

Great place for a beer after a day of boating on the lake. The bar food isn’t going to win any awards but the drinks are cheap, plenty of tables to chill at outside and the bonfire at night is fun. Pool table and darts and summer volleyball make it a good place to get your land legs back

I don’t know what everyone is complaining about. It is what it is. Don’t expect five star dining, although the food is good. This is a lake restaurant and they don’t try to be the Conesus Inn, just a decent priced place for some grub.

We live in California and was visiting family. Stayed in the hotel rooms there and also had dinner! Excellent service and great food! The ossobucco and the surf and turf out of this world! Caesar salad is the best. Family had a catered party and the food was perfect. Mary Alice is easy to work with for planning and Tom is a fabulous cook! The rooms are very clean!

It’s a cheesy dive bar, don’t have high expectations. They have a few rooms available. They were clean and comfy. Each seemed to have a pull out if needed for extra bodies. There’s a small table and retro efficiencies, stove, fridge, microwave. Bathrooms were showers only. I’ve never been in the restaurant, the bar food is standard food. It’s not a pub menu, mostly fried appetizer stuff.

Great place to cool down and have a drink, however the restaurant food is not very good. Portions are small and the stuffed shrimp is dry and you only get 4 small shrimp. The steak is cooked ok but is a poor, grisly cut.

A great place to have dinner or just have drinks and enjoy the view. Outdoor and indoor seating so it’s perfect for any type of day. Great stop on the motorcycles, boat or car. Owners are friendly as are the staff and customers. Parking is a challenge sometimes but that’s what you get for being at the lake. All sorts of drinks and a new seafood menu. They also have bar food for lunch outside.

This is a great place to hang out and have a few drinks on the lake. One of the best times but also very busy is around the 4th of July. Ring of Fire is an awesome fireworks show! If you are out on the lake with a boat stop by this place and have a good meal and good drinks. The food and people here are good too. The people here are so nice and lots of fun too.
