Most enjoyable lunch. Had ground beef enchiladas with black beans and rice. Combo plate for 8.50. Saturday is not lunch special day… only Mon-Fri. But Combinations are very reasonable. Other offers are a bit pricey. Décor is very nice and service was top notch. Salsa is spicy… you can ask for the mild. Unlimited chips and salsa. Three of us ate for $ 30.00.

Closed more than an hour ahead of schedule — Staff Couldn’t Care Less! We live in the Bailey area and it is a 20 – 30 minute drive to this establishment. They publish their closing time as 10:00 pm on Fridays both online and on their door. We conversed with a young gentleman and calmly voiced our frustration and disappointment at their early closure only to receive an attitude of «yeah, ok… I let management know… are you done yet so I can go back to watching TV». This was very disturbing to both of us so we asked him to also tell management that we would not ever be coming back, to which he replied, OK and then went back to his booth seat to watch TV and hang with his co-workers. If you care to know the prelude… my wife and I both found ourselves working late and from past experience knew that we’d be able to pay a visit to them at 9:00 pm and have dinner. We arrived at 9:10 and were informed that due to it being a slow evening, they closed early and the cook had already gone home. I informed them that although I understand the reasoning, this is not a good practice for a dining establishment in a rural area where they are the only game in town at that hour and there aren’t any other options other than fast food. I also tried to convey that it is a bit out of our way to make the drive there and to spend 30 minutes driving there only to find they’re closed, when we could have gone somewhere else closer to us and would have arrived prior to them closing, really ruined our evening. I do not like to show up someplace 15 minutes or less prior to them closing which is why we opted for«3 Margaritas» vs. a closer establishment since we would have arrived with nearly an hour left before«3 Margaritas» closed. The gentleman we encountered was very disinterested in our viewpoint and treated us like our presence was an annoyance. This is the second time we’ve found ourselves unable to dine here as they decided to close the restaurant for the entire evening… perhaps the whole day… because of a Denver Broncos game. Seriously? You close for a game whereas most other places extend their hours to serve their patrons? That is twice we’ve been burned… there will not be a third.

We ate here on a whim, and I loved it! The food came out pretty quickly, I was still wishes, and the environment was nice. There were several people, as well as a large group of about 16, but the noise level was really tolerable. I ordered a crispy chili Relleno and A chimichanga, and they were both really good. Their enchilada sauce is a little different, but not unenjoyable. I have to say I enjoyed the soft chili Relleno a lot better, but the crispy was a new experience. The only downfall was that our waiter was a little quick to take your order and run off, he wasn’t very good at staying put to make sure that you were done. My husband’s a thinker, and he takes a minute to finish his thought process so multiple times as the waiters trying to walk away we had to flag him back down again. Having said that, he was very nice and the other waiter that was helping him was actually really funny so no complaints there. Solid food, and we will be frequenting this place again! Update: we really love this place, and the only reason it got a 4 was because the waiter is kinda weird, but we have him almost every time, and he’s growing on me… like a weird miss;)

I have been coming to this location for 4 years and I have never been more disappointed. Our server Mike was the worst that I have ever experienced. When we went to place our order all we wanted was some tacos and what he brought out was not what we wanted. He then proceeded to tell us that the kitchen was closed so there was nothing that he could do. We proceeded to tell him that we wouldn’t eat this. He went around the corner and said this is why I hate people they’re aholes. Wow you’re kidding me! We than said that we weren’t going to pay for something we didn’t want and we didn’t. I than called the next day and talked to the manager who was very polite on the phone. He told me that Mike is the owners son. Another shocker. They should know what kind of service is given when they’re not around. He seems like he doesn’t want to be there. The manager also said he would contact the owner and would call back but I have heard nothing so I don’t think we will be coming back.

The food was ok. Service was pretty good for the first part. Then when we tried to pay it took 20mins. Not worth the trip if your looking for a short lunch trip.

A normally decent place to eat by most accounts and has been for the last 8 years. Tonight 3 Margs goes on a list to NEVEREATAGAIN. Elevated prices and $ 50 for two meals reminiscent of being prepared in dirty dish water. I recommend taking a pass on this place as it has went downhill for the last few years, slowly slipping to a spot below Taco Bell.

I always liked the service and the food here. Their margaritas are terrific!!! Oh yes! I am a fan. The food is great. I always get tacos al cabon something like that. I ask for extra cilantro. Love their beans too. Comfy location with easy parking. Visited often.

Worst service I have ever had. Server started to argue with me when I mentioned another table that had been sat down after us got food before our order was taken. She argued with me when I asked for the manager, then the manager eas too busy eating to come over. Not friendly at all.

Your basic greasy Mexican gut bomb food. My fajitas were pan-fried onions, peppers and strips of steak. That was it, no seasonings or marinade. Dull and unimpressive. The upside is their house margaritas are pretty decent. But as far as the food goes take a hint from Darwin; adapt or die. I think the local community deserves much better.

Their food is excellent, but not very customer friendly. They have a whole long list of margarita flavors, but most times only have a couple available. Then, they are prone to closing earlier than their advertised times. The other night they showed closing at 10:30 pm. We got there at 7:52 pm. And the waiter us at the door with«We are closing in 10 minutes, if you’re cool with that.» I said I didn’t know what he meant by that, but they weren’t supposed to be losing for 2.5 more hours. He said it had been a slow day and they were closing at 8.

Terrible value. I don’t know why this has 4 stars. The food was expensive and they should have paid me to eat it.

This wasn’t a bad place to eat at all. Tucked away in Conifer in a retail area on the upper level near Staples. I had one of the steak burritos with all the garnish. My husband had a huge combo plate. We ate with friends and our table was very full. The service was fast and our waitress was very attentive and called us her Amigos. The Margaritas were awesome and I recommend either the Mango or Strawberry Banana. We will definitely return!

We live in Indian Hills and have been coming here for four years. We have always loved the place for its friendly service and great food! Tonight was different. The food was sub-par and the waiter couldn’t care less about whether we we were happy or not. He had zero personality and the amount of cologne he was wearing just about made me puke(I could smell it on my margarita glass)… Too bad this place has gone downhill — won’t be going back. Update — heard that ownership changed. Explains a lot…

Been coming here for years and sadly, it’s gradually gone down. The place feels like a McDonald’s whether you come if it’s busy or slow. No matter how many different servers we get, it always feels like we’re being rushed. It’s sad because there aren’t many places in the area and we like to dine out without having to travel far from home. Unfortunately, this place has left a bad taste in our mouths;P As for the food, it is good but pricey. They won’t offer you more than 1 drink, or deserts, and hardly ever friendly. It is probably a result from the constant change in management. Whatever the case may be, we avoid going here anymore and would rather spend a little extra time traveling into town.

Awesome chicken quesadillas! Glad we found this place and will definitely be back. Good portion sizes and the enchiladas and margaritas were excellent. Thumbs up!

I read the reviews, but we tried it anyway. I wasn’t going to leave a negative review, as I don’t want the place to get too much of a bad reputation, but after speaking to the owner about our experience, it is no wonder the service here is so bad. I’d discourage anyone from trying this place until they hang out a sign saying«Under New Management». Our server was okay, but the hostess and manager on duty more than ruined the evening, and the owner sounded outright venomous on the phone. Spend your money elsewhere. They don’t deserve it.

All our friends love this place, but Ijust don’t get it. To begin with, the food is ok, but just ok, very mediocre in every way. The staff used to be super friendly, they made you feel like family. That and the convenient location to our home, made up for the mediocre food. But the last 3 – 4 times we’ve been in, the service was just plain bad. No chip refills, no water refills, and very poor customer service when there was an issue on the bill. Like another reviewer, they refused to accept a coupon from us because a friend at another table gave it to us. I can’t recommend nor do I think we will be going back. For the money there are better alternatives up in the foothills

Food was okay and the salsa was good. Definitely not a light or lowfat meal. Portions were huge and there was quite a bit of fried food on the menu. I ordered the chicken quesadillas and they were bursting with cheese and oil.

Service inconsistent. I meant to really slam them for a horrible experience we had two months ago They cleaned the bathrooms with Pine Sol at 8:00PM and we couldn’t breathe. My nose burned for hours after we left. WTF is up with management. Sometimes we like the food and other times we swear we will never be back.

A better than average Mexican restaurant. * Menu — very extensive with many choices for both carnivore & vegetarian * Service — very friendly, responsive, and timely. They were super helpful when I asked to replace my dressing with the Chipotle sauce from another dish. * Food — pretty decent and fresh. The grilled fish and beef salads were exactly as described on the menu… just sort of deconstructed. The only niggle was the the salad itself was the smallest portion of food. Go figure? * Location & Décor — 2nd floor with a challenging to find front door, which is located on the south side of building. Inside was surprisingly large with many separate sections, which can be closed off if not needed. The décor is festival, colorful and bright. * Parking — very expansive. The have an upper parking lot if you want to avoid climbing the steep stairs. Easy in & out if your going westward. We would definitely visit again on our next drive through Conifer.

This place is the best thing to happen to Conifer since… ever. It’s by far the best restaurant we have in this town. I’ve lived here on and off for 15 years and always found the restaurant options to be sad and lacking. 3 Margaritas has totally changed that. The service is impeccable. Every single person in that place, from the busboy to the bartender will greet you, take great care of you, and thank you on your way out. As someone who has worked in restaurants and other customer service positions, I can confidently say that the people who work here really define what good service should be. The food is great as well. The tortilla soup is the best I’ve ever had in my life. I get it every single time I go, and sometimes I stop by for a quick lunch and get JUST the soup. It’s that good. My other favorite menu item is the Ensalata Tapatia, with carne asada, cheese, pinto beans, veggies, and a great vinaigarette dressing, it’s not the kind of salad that leaves you hungry! They have some great traditional Mexican foods as well as the Tex Mex we’re all accustomed to. This is my family’s favorite restaurant in Conifer and we’re so glad to have it here!
