Love the staff, love the service, love the food. The kids love it just as much. Miss the old chef, but the food is still very consistent. Five stars all around for brooks.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We only had drinks, but the barkeep was really cool, as well as attentive. We did some see people eating(I say that like its a novelty or something), and the food did look super yums. It was pretty loud, but it’s somewhat of a sports bar, so it’s to be expected. Overall, great experience, and we’ll be back!

Server was helpful, though couldn’t answer basic questions without checking with others first. Food was average at best.

Our favorite local hang out. Food is delicious, owners are awesome, staff is top-notch. Update 11÷14÷15 — Shout-out to Gina, who was slammed, and handled it like a pro!!! We were so impressed!!! Still our favorite place…

First time to Brooks Tavern and we’ll be back for the nice draft beer selection and tasty house made garbanzo bean patty! While the prices are moderate to high for lunch in my opinion; the menu has a great selection and suits vegetarians and meatatarians.

I came here with a large group. Sometimes even when you call ahead when you have a large group you still have to wait for tables and whatnot. They were well prepared though. We walked in and could easily see the tables already set up for us. Oddly, we did have to wait for menus, but that wasn’t too bad. The waitress took our orders pretty quickly. The restaurant’s power had gone out for a bit and they lost a lot of food so they didn’t have a few menu items, but the waitress was good at working out other options or substitutions with everyone. The food took a LONG time, but like I said it was 20 ppl and they were just getting back up and running and had a lot of food substitutions for the missing ingredients. When it did come it was very good. The waitress never really came back to check on us after taking our order(someone else delivered the food). She came back when we were done and did a few drink refills(that had been needed for a while), but most of the meal she wasn’t around. Its always hard to get really good service with one waitress and a big table so this is maybe understandable. All in all, even with the inattentive waitress, random food substitutions and long wait, the food was still good, the atmosphere was nice and open and it was a good time.

HORRIBLESERVICE. We have eaten here twice but NEVER again. Asked 2 servers other than our server for refills on tea. Both ignored. Server left us without checking with us for almost 20 minutes. Even had to ask 3 times for check. We had a play to get to and this places sucks. I even left a good tip but I hope the management sees this post. This lady needs a different job. So there is nothing good I can say. Food was not good as well. 3 of us had ribs and they were too salty to eat and way over cooked. It was hard to tell what was meat and what was charred bbq sauce. This place sucked.

Great seasonal rotating menu, awesome deal on Sundays for bottomless mimosas, and an overall friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Also… Best pretzel bites known to man.

Updating my review thanks to a kind response from the owner. We have eaten here before and the food was good for bar food, which is why we wanted to come back. I wish I could give this place more stars, but we weren’t able to actually dine here because even though we arrived at 8:40 and the restaurant sign said they close at 9, the hostess wouldn’t seat us. She stated that they closed early because they were slow. So apparently their business model is; close early, lose money. Not even my four-year-old who burst into tears when he heard that he wouldn’t be able to eat could sway her. I gave them one star for two reasons: 1. I can’t give zero stars. 2. She did allow me to use the bathroom.(We had been in the car for nine hours.) Some might think eh it’s only one table they lost, but another party of three walked in right after us. Unfortunate. Management should rethink their strategy a little.

This is our«go to» restaurant in the area. Good food, great service, happy hour specials– we know if we head over to Brooks Place we will leave smiling. There is a reason this place is always crowded…

Worst service — Waitstaff are just kitchen runners — service is non existing and very unfriendly… Had one of their«famous» burgers… Really? — Overcooked charred meat on a soggy bun! — Even Wendy’s does better than this place… Just another overpriced roadside joint with an extremely cranky waitstaff. Won’t go there ever again!

This review is based solely on the excellent customer service that we received. My boyfriend and I stopped here on a Friday around 6 for a couple cold beers. The place was packed. We were immediately greeted by a very nice smile and upbeat, helpful personality.(think it was the owner) ice cold beer(: we were waited on by like two or three different members of the wait team, but that was OK. I know some Unilocalers hate that. Very clean establishment. Clean bathrooms. We will definitely go try the food soon. I don’t like sitting in front of a lot of people and I like the fact there are some private tables and outside seating as well. Well done Brooks!

Nice place– Nice Feel. Food is pretty good. Had a Greek Salad, pretty good. Had a cup of something they called French Onion soup… They better check that recipe again… Terrible. Good sports bar type place thats not a chain– in the hills. I will give them another chance.

We came here after zip lining with Denver Adventure Tours(which was awesome). I ordered the chicken kebabs, and my son had the bacon cheeseburger. First, I didn’t taste his cheeseburger, but he seemed to like it and ciabatta is a nice touch. The patty looked like a performed, frozen patty. Sad, but oh well. The fries were crispy and nicely seasoned. My kebabs looked pretty. I asked for no pita and more salad, which they graciously provided. The salad was lovely with kalamata olives and feta on romaine. My only complaint was that the chicken was dry. Super dry. Stick to your throat dry. Tzatziki helps but just not enough. Looked like a fun happy hour bar to visit, but as I was with my son, I can’t really comment on that aspect.

Brooks is great. I live in Conifer and thank goodness it’s here. The new location is working out really good. I love the burgers, salmon, bison meatloaf, bacon crème brûlée and all the breakfast stuff. I go here at least three times a week to eat. The staff is over the top. Ignore the bad reviews and definitely come here. Ask for specials!
