My husband and I grabbed a dinner here last week and were very pleased. We both had the chili bacon cheeseburger and it was really good. Chili was on par, the burgers were tender, and they didn’t skimp on the bacon. It’s a very cute little place with quick service. Very affordable. They also have ice cream and milkshakes. We will definitely be back! Great to see new quality places opening in Connellsville!

Paid a visit to my hometown of Connellsville today and noticed some disturbing new changes. West Crawford is getting a makeover! I noticed at least 5 new businesses along the busy street… a winery, a new pizza place in the accursed storefront that’s housed literally hundreds of pizza places, frozen yogurt, and a few new little restaurants. We decided to visit this one since they kindly left their business open on Labor Day. Trying to cater to the hungry bike trail folks no doubt. My friend and I tried the double cheeseburger, the cheese fries, and the chicken bacon ranch wrap. The great thing about this place is the affordability. My wrap was 4.25, and it was quite large, there was no skimping on chicken or bacon, and the flavor was top notch. The chicken was tender, had a great grill flavor, and the wrap wasn’t doused in dressing. I hate that. The fries are very non-greasy, which is as advertised. Didn’t disappoint. My friend loved her double cheeseburger. The quality was evident in every bite. The name pays homage to local history, which is nice. Inside everything is all reclaimed pallet wood, sandwich boards, and fresh paint. It gives off a comfortable, casual vibe that won’t scare the locals, but is cool enough to attract the bike trail clientele. The guy that served us is excited about the business and the plans they have in the works. They’ll be open year round and will be changing the menu according to the season. They’re planning on doing fun stuff like backyard s’mores nights, and putting up a projector to show sports games and movies. And there’s a weekday milkshake happy hour! He urged us to follow the business on Facebook for updates. I will definitely be doing so. The Coke Oven definitely fills a need on the C-ville restaurant scene, so I’m rooting for them. Hopefully you will too!
