I stayed at Fox Castle in February, I had to come back to Connellsville, my home town, for some family matters. Susan made me feel right at home. I stayed in the Lafayette room. It is spacious, even had its own heater and A/C unit, which was great! Being that I live in Las Vegas, and the temps were not what I am use to. The bathroom was even roomy, not too tiny like ya get in some hotels. I’m 6’5″ and the shower was tall enough for me, can’t get that in most hotels either. The breakfasts that Susan prepared were outstanding, she tailored them to my personal tastes, now I was the only guest that week and maybe that is something she can’t always do, if the house is full, but none the less it was great for me. The house is very warm and cozy, you do feel like you are at home. I have not stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts before, but if given the choice over a hotel, I would stay here every time. So, if you are in town for the bike trails, or just need to bring things down for a couple of days this is the place. Also, Free WiFi! That’s hard to some by in most Hotels too.

Spent a night at Fox Castle B&B and really enjoyed the ambiance as well as the extra care and welcoming attitude of our host Susan. Breakfast was a delightful fruit compote followed by a delicious frittata. Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. We certainly would return.

My mother and I stayed at Fox Castle after a last minute change of plans, and Susan was very accommodating and flexible with our arrival time. The house was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was equipped with the necessities and seemed recently renovated. Susan is very friendly and cares about her guests’ experiences. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and filling. We enjoyed our stay very much, and would gladly return if we went back to the area. Fox Castle is one of the closest places to stay to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater.
