Dr. Beatty: Greatest ophthalmologist of all time.(Thank you, spell-check, for teaching me that there is an h after the p in ophthalmologist, and that I have apparently been mispronouncing that word for my whole life.) I grew up in Connersville and my eye doctor was always Dr. Beeson, who was SOAWESOME. When he left town(and who can blame him?) I thought I’d never find true eye doctor love again. But then! Dr. Beatty! He is wonderful. He is gorgeous in a boyish, «how is he possibly old enough to be looking into my eye with that complicated-looking thing» kind of way, and he always remembers to ask me about my granddad, who is also a patient of his. Small town thing, I guess. Anyway, if you’re in the market for a new eye doctor, heed my advice: Dr. Beatty makes eye charts cool. And his breath is always great. That’s totally key.
