Their pepperoni pizza is excellent. It’s diced pepperoni, not circles, but it has lots of flavor. Circular pizza cut into squares(crust is very good too).

As this pizza place is highly rated, I wanted to try it. I’ve had pizza practically coast-to-coast and I’m always eager to find a new, great place. This one was downtown near the post office. To me, there is nothing better than a good deluxe/supreme/special/whatever you want to call it. I want the vegetables, as well as the meat, so pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers are essential. Some places leave off the green peppers because they’re expensive. Big Boy’s Pizzeria makes the 8 inch The Big Boy at a really impressive, low price. With a medium drink, it was about $ 1.50 cheaper than any other place in Indiana or Ohio. It didn’t take long for the pizza to be finished, even though they seemed busy with all the carry out business. When she brought it to me, it wasn’t cut well, but it was hot as… a coal furnace? :-D I took time for it to cool, so I wouldn’t be trying to scrape pizza away from the cardboard or the roof of my mouth. After a couple of minutes, I started tearing the pieces away from each other, and it was really thick. The cardboard beneath it was really soaked with grease from the meat and/or oil from the cheese. Since it’s so thick, I wonder if they bake it in a pan lined with oil. We did that at Cassano’s with our deep dish skillet pizza. It was better than good, but not quite great. The grease really put me off, and it wasn’t good for the stomach either but not enough to stop me from returning. Considering that Mancino’s wasn’t very good, and Pizza Hut is never really good, but somewhat more reliable, and your other choice is Pizza King, I see Big Boy’s as the only place to get good pizza in Connersville.

Big Boys is my favorite pizza joint in Connersville. It’s clean, the delivery is relatively quick(especially compared to Pizza King) and the prices aren’t exorbitant. The«Big Boy» itself is my favorite pizza they serve(it’s kind of their version of a Supreme)… it’s loaded with toppings and has just the right amount of grease. I can’t make myself get too excited about the Chicken Ranch pizza, but that’s just my personal preference over actual quality. And Joshua’s right… the breadsticks are great. As far as I’m concerned, the taste and service blow Pizza King out of the water. Eat here, not there.

alright I know, I know Connersville probably has the most pizza places per capita then anywhere. But, Big Boy’s is the best in my opinion and i’ve tried them all. I think last time I counted there were 8 pizza places in our small town, and now I think a new one has opened up where the old Big Boy’s was originally located. anyways back to the review, I love Big Boys for a couple of reasons. 1. Chicken Ranch Pizza– I’d never had anything other then the usual toppings being pickier in my younger years. But, the first time I had this masterpiece I was addicted. The ranch they use for the sauce is absolutely perfect and you can tell they make it themselves. 2. Service– I’ve never gone here and they didn’t have enough workers available which meant I get my order taken quick and within 10min(sometimes less) I’ve got my food piping hot in front of me. also the prices here are extremely reasonable. oh! and the bread sticks are too legit to quit. I rarely get delivery we usually just go in and eat, so I can’t tell you how that is, but I’m sure it’s just as good!
