I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a poor display of customer service than we got from the«shift leader» at this Subway a couple weeks ago. My mom is hearing impaired. She’s not deaf but definitely has trouble picking up on low tones. The girl behind the counter(who had the personality of a dog whistle) was talking so low that *I* could barely hear her. She was clearly annoyed at having to repeat herself, but she took it to a whole new level when she asked what vegetables my mom wanted on her BLT salad: Mom: Well, lettuce, of course. Girl:((rolls eyes)) I didn’t ASK if you wanted lettuce. I SAID what VEGETABLES. I should mention this was the only time she raised her voice above a dull mumble. My mom told her to cool it with the attitude and informed her she had a hearing issue. The girl’s response? «Well, I’m having a bad day.» Um, that much was obvious, toots. How in the heck did she get promoted to a shift leader if she wasn’t aware that you don’t take out your bad days on customers? Anyway, I contacted the corporate office and Mom got some coupons for her trouble, but I don’t think either of us will be making a trip to this Subway again.

Of the two subways in town this is the newer and definitely less busy it seems. I’ve also had great service here and have been able to get in and out very smoothly. This one has a drive thru actually unlike the other in town which is handy. It’s attached to a car wash which kind of makes it able to kill two birds with one stone kind of place if you want lunch and a shiny car. Otherwise it’s another subway.
