Amalfi’s Pizza

Let’s face it. A review is just how the food, service and restaurant were to you on that particular day. It’s all subjective. However — I am a fan of this place. It’s very small inside to go early or late to be sure to get a seat at lunch. I like the pizza! It’s fresh and tasty. I’ve had the hot sandwiches especially the cheese steak and they’re delicious. The burger is absolutely amazing! Please plan to share it — it’s huge. They put a spice on it that’s just a little different than the norm on a delicious bun. Who knew?

Great food, huge portions. I had spinach calzone and husband had penne amalfi. We also got a grilled chicken Salad and split it. All I can say its more than enough food so go hungry! Small restaurant so if your planning on big family dinner out everyone may not get to sit together. Food was fresh and service was fast. No complaints.

Wonderful food at a great price. The calzones are huge and fantastic. The best cheese calzone I’ve ever had.

Just had my first meal at amalfi’s and I am very impressed. The food is so fresh and crisp. The service is amazing and everyone here is smiling. I will definitely be back soon.

My wife is from Philly and even she likes the cheesesteaks here. They might not be as good as true Philly Cheese Steak but it’s the best one you’ll get around here!
Great Pizza too. Plenty to eat and the Monday/​Tuesday special of a LARGE 16 inch pizza for only $ 11.49 is a killer deal.

My family has eating at Amalfi’s for a very long time now. Their food is always excellent, I especially love the Philly Cheese Steak and have ordered them several times.
I say this, because recently I ordered a cheese steak sandwich and brought it home. Upon taking the first bite I knew something was very off (I’ve had it enough times to know what it SHOULD taste like). I took a second bite, and then I knew it. The meat in the sandwich had turned spoiled.
I called Amalfi’s expecting to get an apology and perhaps an offer of a replacement sandwich at the very least. Instead the owner got on the phone and proceeded to literally yell at me, claiming that I was a liar and there was nothing wrong with his food. I’m sorry, that is just a huge no-​no in the restaurant business.
He continued to argue with me for over 15 minutes and said «come say it to my face that my meat was spoiled. I will tell if you’re lying or not.»
Needless to say there will be no return trips to Amalfi’s, which is a shame because we were loyal customers and when the food wasn’t spoiled, it was fantastic.
