Grape’s Twin Haven

Ended up at Grape’s Twin Haven after walking out of Dublin’s because of poor service. Were seated promptly by the owner, Mary, and immediately brought a pitcher of water. The waitress then came over to help us and was very nice. Learned that the food is homemade by Dennis, the other owner, along with Mary. Two people I was with ordered the stuffed walleye and raved about it. Another ordered the steak covered in mushrooms. Was cooked exactly as he wanted and that too received rave reviews. I ordered the battered shrimp. Was very good. Just the right amount of batter and large size shrimp. I think the best was the homemade rolls that were brought with our salads. Baked when you place your order so they come to the table right out of the oven. Nothing fancy about the interior but great service and friendly people. Ended the night by sitting at the bar talking to Mary, very nice woman!

One of our favorite stops in the North woods. Mary and Dennis are great business owners and run a fine business. We love the pizza and Friday night fish is top notch. Portions are generous and we love the walleye and perch dinners.
