Sorry… Not very clean, IMO. Food was ok, but too many flying insects, for me. Bad location, as well!

Went a week ago to see what the fuss was about with my husband about this place. The owner was not friendly nor welcoming at all. Very dry attitude and just trying to sell you the most expensive things on the menu. The meat was not good quality meat. Way overpriced and the sweet potato fries weren’t good either. Save your money and drive to the original super burger in Willis, you won’t be disappointed there!

Great food! Just a bit too expensive. We got two burgers and one order of tots and it came out to about 25 dollars. Now we did add bacon, jalapeños, and I added an egg. But good Lord, that’s just ridiculous…

Not worth the high price … Not fresh made meat, it’s store bought. They advertise free fried pickles yet still kept asking me if I wanted to order some after I had already said I had like there page on facebook. Instead of offering me the Friday special combo he charges me for each separate item, 2 burgers, 2 sides, 2 drinks = 39.00 I don’t mind spending the money where it’s worth it but this is wrong. Owner had a dry attitude when I mentioned the free fried pickles in which is advertised all in the buisness and on facebook. Anyways me being a buisness owner I don’t like to leave bad reviews, but this place over charged me, didn’t act as if my money was green enough… will never eat here again nor promote there buisness as I had done on Facebook trying to help a small buisness out.

The food is usually quite good here, although a bit overpriced. Today it took us 42 minutes to get a burger and a BLT. Also, the fries had been re-dropped in the fryer. Our food did not meet the usual standard we have become accustomed to from them.

This is restaurant is off the main roads and is easy to fly by when traveling but it is a gem of texas burger joints that is a must stop when passing through Conroe, Texas. It is only half a mile off I45 and has top quality burgers and sides. The burgers are mammoths that will fill any hungry stomach. There are a great balance of fresh ingredients and spice. Fries and onion rings are crunchy and delicious and a must have when visiting. Enjoy you will not be disappointed!

It was my first time visiting this burger location and I can only say that it is definitely not worth the price they charge. The bread is soggy and mushy, there is no flavor with the circular puck they call meat, too much mustard and ketchup to substitute the tasteless meat, the lettuce and pickles were bland. There food is overpriced for what you get and even after eating there you still leave feeling hungry and unsatisfied. I heard good things about this place and saw that they were listed as the best burger in Texas but that is no longer the story.

The burger was good but you better watch cause they will rip you off!!! They charged me 17 bucks for a bacon cheese burger with tots and malt!!! Me and my 3 friends were all severely over charged!!! You may need to take out a loan…, this joint is too pricey.

I have been to Burger Fresh many times because I work close to this location. At first, I thought it was really good. Their burgers are normally better than most. However, the owner who usually takes your order can only be compared to the famous Soup Nazi. He is very rude and his horrible attitude destroys the good marketing efforts he has put into the place. I have also seen roaches here on two different occasions. One time I pointed it out to the owner and he brushed me off and said he would worry about it later. Another major drawback is the nickel and dimeing that goes on here. He rattles off a checklist of features you can have on your burger and the price of everyone is over the top, but of course he doesn’t tell you about the up charge. You will think you are getting a good deal for $ 5.99 and after adding cheese and their jalapeño bun you are over $ 11. The burgers are good but I am done with the place. If the«Burger Nazi» wants his restaurant to survive he needs to clean the place up, create easier pricing, and hide in the back so the customers can enjoy their burger away from his terrible personality.

Ive been there a few rime hoping it would get better. Even if the food was excellent which its not, it’s way over priced. But the absolute worse thing is the owner i thought was rude and talks to you like you’re wasting his time. I’m not going back anymore.

This is one of the most expensive burger places in conroe and by no means fresh, at one time this place may have made great fresh hand made burgers but since it’s texas monthly magazine hype… Has plummeted.

I came to this place twice,. the first time was bad, but I really wanted this place to be good since I have heard so many good reviews from Texas Monthly and other forms of media. I was hoping my first time there was just a bad fluke,… however my second visit confirmed that it was no fluke. On both occasions the man running the place seemed disgruntled with our placing an order. On both visits I had a woman(different woman each time) with me who had received uncomfortable stares and shocking comments from the guy running the place. The patty seemed real packed and dry. The buns were nothing special and the construction of the burger was sloppy and nothing about it really screamed fresh to me,. at least not fresher than any other burger joint. One of the ladies I was with left saying they should rename the place,. Creepy’s Burgers.

This was the worst burger I have had in a long time, it was extremely greasy and not at all fresh. The meat was obviously a frozen patty with no flavor at all other than the grease. The sourdough bun acted as a sponge and within a minute was completely soggy from grease. The worst part was paying $ 16 for a burger that I threw away after 3 bites.

Tasty burger, not fresh ground. Sourdough buns were good. Crunchy tater tots. Good onion rings. Way overpriced. 2 burgers, tots, onion rings, 2 drinks = $ 27.00? Won’t be back.

Stopped by for lunch and got the $ 6 brown bag meal which consists of a single patty burger, fries, and a drink. I also ordered some pickle chips. The pickle chips were awesome, nice and crispy, some of the best that i’ve had. Would definitely recommend, might be too many for just one person. I upgraded to a double patty burger for $ 1 more although I think the single patty would have been fine. Nothing spectacular about the burger, it was a solid burger, would eat it again, appropriate for the $ 6 price tag. The fries that came with the bag meal were generic but tasty.

Good but not great. Onions rings were over fried… fries were perfect. Not sure but I suspect the patties are pre-formed frozen. Drive the extra 10 minutes and eat at 3B’s in The Woodlands.

$ 10.81 and I got burned pieces of fries and a HORRIBLE burger. The bread was soggy and revolting to look at. Never going back to burger fresh.

Updating my review of this place… Tried the Texas Monthly Burger and it is good except for one issue… Sysco meat! Come on folks really? A Sysco patty on your signature burger? $ 13 for a burger basket you expect a hand formed patty. It’s a shame because everything else about the burger is good. I guess they’re banking on the press and people coming in to try the Texas Monthly burger and decided to increase profit by cutting corners. Not good. Dude behind the counter was pretty rude too. Bet this place is closed by end of the year. Going somewhere else from now on.

I had certificate(from a popular online voucher vendor) for two«burger baskets» that came with two huge burgers, choice of French fries, tots, or onion rings, and two large drinks. And they also saw fit to throw in two cups of ice cream as well. With the original price, it’ll set ya back around 28 $. I’m not sure if I’d repeat the visit(or rather, quantity) at that price. But the food was pretty on point. The burgers tasted like they were made with quality beef, and they’ve got some wonderful toppings, and delicious buns(the jalapeño one was awesome). The French fries & onion rings are also«bottomless,» so get your fill. Service was attentive, but not over the top, and the store was pretty slow that evening, All in all, a pleasant night out with some tasty caloric indulgences.

We are staying up on Lake Conroe, and received a Groupon offer for this place and decided to try it out. Great decision! It’s a little hole in the wall located in a very small strip of stores, just 2 – 4 businesses, just west of I-45 on the south side of Conroe. We both had the Texas Monthly award burger basket. Don’t be fooled by the name, the jalapeño sourdough bun is not spicy at all, but has great flavor! The burger was very good and the combination of flavors was perfect. The fries were also very good, and bottomless as advertised. The onion rings were tasty and enormous! The service was very good, prompt and friendly. I would for sure recommend stopping in for a burger if you are in the area! Be aware that they close pretty early during the week, call first if you can. We tried on a previous night and they had just shut the doors and it was just after 830p. The rating should be 3.5! But, it didn’t deserve to only get a 3, so I opted for the 4 stars. The reason being the grimy chairs. It may sound picky. But, after pulling out the chairs at our table, they were so disgusting, that I had to wash my hands before touching anything else! I’m no Howie Mandel, but they were bad, really bad! Sticky, greasy, dirty, and any other thing you want to call them, they were untouchable!!! I has a lapse and inadvertently touched mine again after getting up for a drink refill — and had to wash my hands AGAIN! And being curious, thinking it could be just messy patrons at our particular table prior to our visit, I sampled some other nearby chairs, same result. The rest of the place was clean. So, it won’t stop me from going back. But, I will definitely bring this to their attention, and if not corrected, could cause me to visit another establishment for my charred beef on a bun requirements!!!
