C N S Treasure Chest

I loved it, the ladies are super sweet and very welcoming. This shop has a little bit of everything. Its an eclectic mix of the past and present.

Outside Conroe? CNS Treasure Chest is the proverbial junk shop by the side of the road with a gravel parking lot set back far enough that it’s easy to pass. I could have turned around at the next intersection but I did enjoy the exciting skid through the gravel coming to a sudden stop. If you are into that sort of thing — and I am — it’s a rare find. Instead of a few overpriced 1960’s era salt and pepper shakers and ashtrays camouflaging things available at any craft fair, it’s got old crummy things of all kinds. It also has some very nice old stuff that’s far from crummy. They accept credit cards and give a 15% discount to first visit Unilocalers with a minimum purchase of ten dollars. The fact that a ten dollar purchase is even possible says pretty much everything you need to know about CNS — it truly is a treasure chest! Totally five stars.
