Flower World Conroe

I called this bakery at the last minute to see if they could bake a cake for my son’s rehearsal dinner. She said absolutely. They prepared a red velvet cake with cream cheese frosting. Oh my… it was delicious. Everyone commented how wonderful the cake was. Thanks!

I stopped in on Friday, August 21 ten minutes before they close. The service was great, my questions were answered, we received one free cake ball taste per person. DELICIOUS!!! I asked if they could have 4 dozen ready for pick up the next day at 9am and they were very accommodating. I called at 8:30 that morning to add an additional dozen and they did so with no problem. All of the guests LOVED the cake balls. We had red velvet, chocolate and German chocolate. The cake balls were very moist and super yummy.

Just stopped in checking out different cake shops in the area for an upcoming event. The lady behind the counter was really nice and very informative, however as soon as I got in the car and took a bite out of cake ball (which only come dipped in dark chocolate) I had to spit it out because it was raw cake. I guess my search continues as I cannot be responsible for giving my guests E. coli.

This business has provided for my floral and cake needs for eight years. Even after a change of ownership (name is now BawMaw’s), it continues to rise to its long-​standing excellent reputation. They custom-​designed my granddaughter’s birthday cakes (a Cat in the Hat Top Hat and a large lady bug) and my daughter’s baby shower cake with matching cake balls. (The only reason they aren’t getting five stars from me is because of the toothpicks found in the Top Hat cake that should have been removed before delivery. My one-​year-​old granddaughter pulled one out of her mouth and handed it to me.)
Every flavor of cake balls they offer are absolutely DA BOMB! I jokingly accuse them of putting crack in them because they are so addictive! Ha ha ha! They will add a little color design to them, at your request, too. A dozen of them get boxed up into a lovely and affordable gift.
The floral service is exceptional, too. I’m particular about the arrangements I order and I have been known to request replacements from other florists when the product did not meet my expectations. I have returned NONE to Flower World. I’ve been very pleased with all of their work. They are consistently beautiful.
Please don’t stop by and try the cakeballs. If you do, you will become as obsessed with them as I am, and word will get out and there won’t be any for me when I want to sneak over and grab a couple of dozen!

The Cake Shoppe is a small little shop and just from an outward appearance, you wouldnt think would have delicious treats inside, but once you go in they have a little glass case full with different flavored cake balls that are OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! This place must be the secret «go to» place of conroe and I’m surprised there arent any other reviews here. If you love cake, or cake balls, you’ve gotta stop in.
