Jack in The Box

1.19 $ for two 99cent tacos. annoying. at least they didn’t skimp out on the meat and lettuce. but it wasn’t a generous portion either

Okay — I’ll admit, I’m a bit peeved by my visit — hence the one star. I stopped here to grab some dinner for my children on our way out of town (yes, I know it’s Christmas), and initially all wasn’t bad. I placed my order and waited like the rest of the gazillions of folks lined up in the drive thru and the few inside with (albeit imaginary) me…
About a half hour into my wait — I noticed the other customers coming in after me getting their food and leaving. When I inquired about my order (which was fairly large), the lady at the front (manager on duty I assume) with a frazzled look started reaming the kids in the back working the grill and fries, wondering where my order was… Apparently it went to someone in the drive thru. :-(. Not the worst part — I was prepared to wait for them to fix my order since they’re the only place close by to feed three screaming toddlers and a very hungry Mom and Dad who are about to embark on a 4.5 hour trip! No Bueno…
That’s all fine and dandy except we have a small problem…, the whale of a burger assembler in the back has one glove on and is touching the food with her bare hand and the other gloved hand… WTF!!! I politely mentioned it to the lady at the front who yelled out — «put your gloves on!» Let’s just say the rude, disrespectful, blob in the back went on a full blown rant — throwing a tantrum in front of everyone in the restaurant. She starts slinging food, dropping cuss words like they’re going out of style and refusing to wear the second glove… I mean what’s the purpose of wearing one glove when you’re touching the food with your other bare hand??? Seriously!!! Not only do you need some serious reprimanding, but your nasty ass needs a new line of work — one not in food service!
That’s a clear cut no-​go for me… So after waiting a half hour for food I won’t eat, much less feed to my kids knowing some unsanitary num-​nut made, I politely ask for a refund and hop back on the road… Screaming toddlers and growling belly all the way… I’ll NEVER stop here again! Ugh. :-(

Wish there was a ZERO star! This place truly sucks! If you ever go to the drive-​thru expect to wait an average of 30mins from the time you are in line to place your order to the time you actually get your food. This isn’t a one-​time deal either, this is the only fast food place by the Gleneagle Community and we have been here a handful of times! It literally is like this in ALL THE SHIFTS throughout the day. I do not recommend this store at all! I’d rather drive about 3 more miles to get better service! The food is good but you can’t run a FAST FOOD chain if your drive-​thru service is not fast! So disappointed!!!

Okay food for a bit of a price. Terrible service from the regular team members. Drive thru staff in the afternoon is the worst I’ve ever experienced. The girl in the window was very rude, refused to retry swiping my credit card when it wouldn’t read the first time, making me count change which she also refused to count. The manager was very nice and replaced my order when I came in to complain. Definitely not going back, especially after lunch. Sorry jack.

This is by far the worst Jack in the box in the area. The staff inside are rude and treat you like dirt. After the horrid girl threw my food to me and took a personal call I called the corporate office and she told me to expect a call within 48 hours from the store manager and no one called. It’s not hard to smile and pretend to be happy for the 30 seconds you have to deal with customers, instead you have to be rude and make customers write reviews like this…

Great food on the run! Service here has been ok at times but rating this jack in the box to others I’ve been to would have to say 3 ½ of five stars based on service employees speaking Spanish across the restaurant and just the overall feel was sub par at best. I recommend if in the area eat before you get here.
