Decent hotel, decent price. Not many options in this area but needed to stay in Conroe. Weird/​scary remote sensor on tv. See pics and comments I posted. Found an empty fedex envelope sitting on top of one of the desk lamps. The date on it was 10÷6÷15. Today is 10÷31÷15. So housekeeping hasn’t noticed this for almost a month? Tells me that housekeepers are either 3 feet tall or they do a crappy job of cleaning a room.

Clean rooms, nice breakfast area. There is actually a large pool that is indoors with a nice area behind the hotel to walk my dog. The are strict with the pet poop pickup which I am glad for. There is a small smoking area on the side near the front door. Most people are very conscientious about there smoking habit. There is always that one and he was there when I was. LOL

I travel to Conroe with some regularity, and when I must spend the night, I always stay at this La Quinta. The desk staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, and the price is reasonable. These factors, combined with easy access to The Woodlands and all the shops, eateries, and activities there, make this location an ideal stop for both frequent and occasional travelers.

Very basic Still using old fashioned bed spreads on the bed! No extra plugins for electronic equipment, like some of the modern hotels have.
Breakfast sucks! Powdered eggs. cold sausage. Coffee tastes like mud.
Pool ok.
Hot tub has a screen that is off set. someone is gonna get their foot caught in it!
Someone was smoking in the elevator. .yuck!

Great location and friendly courteous staff. Super clean always and nice spacious rooms. Free wifi and heated pools. Not too shabby for a La Quinta! Not to mention pets welcome and clean pet area.

Great hotel. Modern than previous LaQuinta San Antonio. Serves breakfast daily. Rooms are great. I only wish more than 1 person on duty was available. A heads up to debit card users, a double charge will reflect due to a pre-​hold and an actual charge. The pre-​hold refund may take up to 10 days after checkout.
