The owners are criminals & gun smugglers and their son is wanted on some pretty heinous charges. Do not support these people!!!

Went here recently and I’ll have to say there were just as many bad things as there were good;
The good: the food was pretty good, everyone seemed very happy with their steaks. Portions are plentiful. The sides and appetizers were all tasty as well.
The bad: my chicken Marsala strongly resembled frozen chicken breasts from Costco. Slightly rubbery and clearly not fresh. The sauce was good but there should have been more mushrooms. That’s what I get for ordering chicken at a steak house.
The ugly: when you have a party start off by ordering a full round of shots and 4 bottles of +$ 40 wine you should be on point for this table that evening. Our service was poor.

Nice tucked away relaxing place to grab a good steak and not have to drive far from Montgomery. Service has always been great. Live entertainment — the two guys are awesome. Very accommodating to small or large parties. The filet is great… Garlic mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese amazing. The could put a couple more asparagus in with the al a carte order. Ask for homemade horseradish to dip your steak.

This place was incredible! The service was by far the best service we have ever received at a restaurant. Alfred and John went out of their way to ensure a fantastic visit. They presented us with a couple of tasting plates before our meal, which were incredible. When they overheard it was my birthday, they surprised us with 2 desserts so that the table could share. The meals themselves were phenomenal. We all agreed that we highly recommend this place to anyone — and if we were to visit Conroe again, it would no doubt be on our list! Kudos to the team at Rex’s — you really left a great impression! :)

Steak was so bad (mostly fat, tough and was unable to eat. Management would not make any adjustment on the steak. No consideration at all was given. Manager never came out to meet with us. We will not return. They never offered to bring us another steak. The tab was $ 144.68 I would not under any circumstances recommend this place to anyone.

An absolutely amazing meal! Don’t judge a book by its cover on this one. Rex’s is at the end of a strip mall but the second you enter you are greeted with a smile and treated like royalty. The staff is the exact same since we’ve been going to Rex’s and they have great attention to detail. The steaks would rival any other high end steakhouse, BUT these steaks come out on a sizzling plate! This is a fantastic steak house for an intimate steak dinner with live entertainment on certain nights. The owner comes by every time to make sure our experience was perfect. We absolutely love Rex’s!!!

Has to be one of the best steaks I’ve had in quite a while and this is coming from someone who has been to Killen’s Steakhouse in Pearland, TX, Charlie’s Steakhouse in Orlando, FL and Bob’s Chophouse in Dallas, TX. The service was perfect, the 5oz Filet was a little on the small side but served on a 500 degree plate, which was incredible. The best part was the price, my filet was only $ 26, please note their online prices are not accurate so expect an additional $ 5 from what’s presented online.

The address is wrong. Call for directions before you go. Rated one star because we never found it.

We landed here after our reservations at another restaurant were bumped by a private party. We were celebrating our 22^nd anniversary and I was wearing makeup, so I was pretty pissed… at first. We were referred by the condo owner and I’m so glad because the food was outstanding, the atmosphere very stylish and the prices were reasonable.

Pleasantly surprised. The flavors were excellent, from the Veal, Ribeye, vegetables and mashed potatoes. We will be back.

Located in a strip mall off Hwy 105. Don’t let the façade fool you! It’s a very good, upscale restaurant for the Lake Conroe area. One side serves mouth watering steaks and seafood and the other Italian. Only ordered off steakhouse menu. Best filet in the area and that includes Kirby’s in Woodlands. Filets are cooked perfectly and in butter! Just like Ruth Chris. Eaten here several times since moving here 6 mos ago. It is expensive but well worth it. Bar is great. Strong drinks. Wine list is extensive and bottles are reasonably priced. Service was excellent. Love the atmosphere. Very cozy furnishings (booths with white tablecloths) and nice dim lighting. Saturday nights they have a gentleman singing hits from 60s through 80s. Sinatra to Barry White! He is really good. Perfect for special occasions or just a really nice meal out!

this was the first time we dined here and I was a bit worried based on the reviews I’ve read, however it was wonderful. my filet was just as good as Ruth Chris. Very nice

My husband and I went to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary and it was a horrible disappointment. I ordered the crab cakes appetizer and they were obviously frozen and tasteless. My husband ordered the shrimp cocktail and got 4 medium shrimp for $ 16.95. That is outrageous. The spinach salad was so drowned in dressing that it was limp. I had to reorder it with the dressing on the side. When my steak came, there was so much grease on the plate, I had to take 2 Zantac to avoid getting sick. On the positive side, my husband’s wedge salad was good and he enjoyed his filet mignon. It was cooked perfectly. For what we paid (the total bill was more than $ 150) this was not worth it at all. I would not go there again.

The ambiance is romantic. The Steak and Lobster and the Lamb Chops are very delicious. They have a nice variety of dishes and the service is excellent. If you want to enjoy a prviate dinner they have two rooms you can reserve it reminds me of a Ruth Chris Steakhouse. The staff is very warm and welcomes you with a smile. They offer Live entertainment on Thrusdays and Fridays.

Snapper on menu but supposedly out. I assume they didn’t have it to start with. So here’s what we had surf and turf (fillet) and a ribeye. The way it came out for the surf and turf the 7 oz fillet was ordered Medium, it came out rare. The owner came out and offered to warm it up. I am not paying 50.00 for a warm over. Also owner is rude, she told me she really didn’t care what I wanted or here what I had to say. Lobster came from a big box store. As for the ribeye, which was ordered rare, (I took the pic). If you think it looks good then spend your 50.00. We had a side order of asparagus, my 8 year old grandson could do better especially for 7.00. We had 4 cocktails 2 sides and 2 entrees and cost us 130.00, which if it was good I have no problem with that. I will never go back nor would I recommend this place. The arrogance’s of the owner is as if the people in this area are ignorant to fine dining. Not only was I insulted by her but the cheap décor and tasteless food was a waste of my time and money.
