This our third and final try at this place. OK this time we thought we would make life easy. Ordered 2 sandwiches chicken parmesan and a capresee. The chicken parmesan was sliced up breaded chicken all dried out. The capresee had a few slices of chicken on it. This is a non meat sandwich, waiter never came back and ask if we wanted refills on our drinks. The manager did come by and refilled our drinks. Only ate half of each sandwich and had no desire to take the other half home. Don’t waste your money better place to eat around the corner. McDonald’s.

The pizza has always been pretty good but be sure to skip any appetizers and pasta. It seems that when I would try to order delivery, they never had a driver. Needless to say, we’ve given up on ordering from here.

Great little place! Food was delicious! Nice little wine list. My friend has food allergies and they were very helpful making sure everything would be OK. Found this place on a whim and if I am in the area I would definitely come back again!

Went on Jan. 31, 2016 around 12:30 pm for lunch. WILLNOTGOBACK… I don’t know what the problem was the female manager but here is what happened. Asked to a table… took us to a booth my wife informed the hostess that we need a table and since there was an table by the booth ask if we could have it. Had an hostess rolled her eyes but seat us. If a customer ask to a table or booth THEREIS A REASON. Waitress was wonderful like always. When food came my wife ask waitress if she ordered the Chicken Parmesan that she thought she ordered Eggplant Parmesan. Waitress looked at ticket and said no it was the wrong dish that she would correct it. We saw the manager talking to our waitress about the matter & waitress explained. When my wife’s plate did come she had to dig to find the eggplants which was 1 piece with an 1″ of marinara sauce on top. Wife had to dig for the eggplant… we did call the manager over since the eggplant was RAW(WHICHMEANSNOTCOOKED) we informed the manager of the problem. Here’s were it gets really bad the manager told us that is the way it’s served… when my wife explained that just looking at the eggplant you could see it’s RAW(UNCOOKED) & she would not eat something that was RAW. The manager cook the plate said she would remove it from the bill and DIDNOT even offer to make another dish. Now the gentle man in the booth next to us informed us that when he was returning to his table that outside the men’s restroom in the hall, the manager had instructed staff not to come to our table to service us. I had to get up and walk across the room to ask for my ticket. When the manager can back over to us to see how we liked our meal. AREYOUKIDDINGME. My wife informed the manager that we would not be back and would be and wanted the owner’s contact information. What told to that the owner’s information would not be given out. As we left the building wife was becoming extremely ill. The chair outside fell and the manager comes out screaming for my wife to NEVERCOMEBACK. At this time wife needed medical attention. My wife has called twice trying to get in contact with the owner an the matter. IF I WASASKEDWHERETHERE’S A GOODPLACETOSEATNOTRUSSO’S NEWYOURPIZZERIA. UNLESSYOUWANTTOPAYFORABUSEINMANAGERSERVICE. By the way after getting wife to hospital… I vomited my meal up. We have called the Woodlands location for the owner’s contact number twice. When Cindy feels better she will be posting the photo and video on the net for a place not to go to.

Clean and inviting. Great servers, very attentive. Food is yummy! I like the super large single slices of specialty slices. Makes it easy to order when everyone wants something different on their pizza.

Dinner was fantastic. Tomato Caprese salad, tomatoes basil soup, large pizza, and gluten free options for the kiddos. Finished with a traditional Italian Canola and Chocolate Truffle Cake. Service was fantastic, and will bring us back again.

Can’t beat the giant pizza by the slice for lunch or dinner! Nice atmosphere with a friendly staff. The pizza varieties are also well paired for a variety of delicious flavors. I like sitting at the bar, having a peroni beer and watching all the cooks toss doe and work the ovens. Wish they had more outdoor space, but the inside décor is very appealing.

I’m born in Brooklyn and raised in New York City and Russo’s pizza is as authentic as it gets-come here to find out what REAL New York pizza is all about! Great Stromboli and seriously amazing to find this place in Texas. 1 trillion stars ‼‼

Enjoyed a rich creamy chicken tortellini on the recommendation of my server. Ceasar salad had a bit too much dressing for my taste, but was tasty too. Great stop for a quick dinner before traveling to Austin. Ask for Hailey. She was great!

The food is good, however the service is extremely slow at this location. Every time we go in they change ordering at the register/seating yourself or get seated & order at the table. They don’t seem to get why we are confused.

My parents and I dined here on a busy Friday night and we got sat immediately! We started with the Calamari. Honestly, I would say it was one of my least favorite Calamari appetizers I have had. There wasn’t much flavor and for 10.95 there wasn’t much there either. I ordered the salad & soup. The salad was delicious, love the balsamic dressing! Unfortunately, the tortellini soup I got was pretty dull. It was not bad. seeing how it really didn’t even have much of a flavor. My dad got a slice of pizza. He said it wasn’t very good, BUT he also compared that to the 12′ pizza he got there on his last visit that was«simply incredible.» He summed it up to the opinion that the slice just isn’t as good as getting a full. Stick to full pizza, people! My mom made the wise decision of getting the Baked Ziti! AMAZING! It was a phenomenal dish that I would get again and again. I would come here again for a 12′ pizza. I think you have to get a pizza when you come here to LOVE the place. I have heard wonderful things about it so I will definitely be coming back to try it. ALSO, they have $ 4 wine and $ 5 appetizers M-F 3 – 6. Great happy hour. P. S. I wanted to take a second to note that the manager was so nice and super attentive. He seemed to truly care about the good of the restaurant and customers. With him in charge, I am confident that next time I go I will be able to leave a 5 star rating!

I don’t get the 5 star reviews! I went there 1 week ago and was disappointed. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing. Ordered the spaghetti and meat sauce and a pepperoni pizza and veggie one. All lacking flavor. I’m a believer in second chances so I will try them again.

I have had the pizza and the chicken cannelloni and both were very good. I would recommend this place for lunch or dinner. I do plan on going back and trying some different dishes.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch today. We had a rather pleasant experience and will definitely be back. First, I was excited to see an impressive selection of local beer on tap, I can’t say enough how hard that is to find around Conroe. Red Brick Tavern is the only other restaurant that comes to mind. The lunch special is a great deal, for around $ 10 you get a dinner-sized entrée and a sizeable soup or salad of your choice. I had the clam chowder and it was excellent. It was creamy, rich, and peppered with fresh, sweet clams. My wife’s tomato bisque was about average, it seemed to be underseasoned. I had the gnocchi with marinara, which had onions, tomatoes, and roasted red peppers. It was quite good, and the gnocchi were light and fluffy. My wife had the chicken piccata, which was again decent, but not great. It seemed a bit too oily for us, and the chicken was a tad over-cooked. We finished with espresso and tiramisu, which had just been freshly made(all their desserts are made fresh daily). The tiramisu was exceedingly light and delicate, and the kahlua and brandy it was soaked in, along with cinnamon, gave it a tres leches cake similarity. The plate was clean in mere seconds. While not everything we had was amazing, there were flashes of culinary brilliance that warrant further visits to see what other delicious gems are hidden on the menu.

I happened to check in online to see if this location was open yet, and hooray it was. It looks like it’s a soft opening. Waiting for our food now. I’ll finish the review afterwards. They seem to be very attentive. The influx of people seems to be a steady pace. It’s a quaint location. Ambiance is low key and enjoyable. I do like the fact that they are open on Monday. As we get ready to roll out of here, does that tell you how much we enjoyed the food. Ha ha It’s was hot and delicious. All the ingredients were fresh. We all ordered calzones. The sauce was very tasty, not acidy. Everyone ate all their food. I did not, I always make room for dessert. We ordered Italian Cream Cake and Tiramisu. I’m not a big tiramisu fan, something about soggy cookies, it just doesn’t appeal to me. Both of the desserts were devoured in no time, to lots of yums and ooohs. Our server was a delight, cheerful and helpful. We’ll be back!
