Sundale used to have my favorite kolaches in town BUT since changing ownership a few months ago, they have changed the sausage and the new ones are not good at all. Very disappointed as I live in CA and brought back 2 dozen for my family to enjoy. A waste of money.

Don’t buy kolaches from a place that sells frozen yogurt as well. Probably the worst kolaches I’ve ever had. Brought them to my staff and they said the same thing, we ended up throwing the box away.

Note really impressed by this place. I don’t eat donuts often, so when I do I’m hoping for a delicious treat. This place was pretty clean, I will give it that. But I felt the donuts were just very bland and dry. Not very soft, and they definitely didn’t taste fresh! I normally go to Shipley’s when I get donuts, but stopped here on my way to school. I would not recommend this place. Less than average. Not only were the donuts bad, but it seemed they also had a new employee. She got my order wrong and gave me donuts I didn’t order(and paid for). I had already left by the time I noticed.

Donuts were cold and hard. The kolaches, were more bread than meat, and they were really cold and not very good at all. Won’t go back. Also, the cream filled donuts were a complete rip off, there was hardly any cream, not even a full teaspoon.

Love this place! Every so often I get a craving for a good kolache and this place hits the spot! The mango smoothies are the great! & everyone who works here are super nice… Great way to start the day :)

I have driven past this place quite a bit and was wondering why they were open at around 8PM. I had only known Sundale as a donut and kolache joint that I visited occasionally. They now serve frozen yogurt. It’s the cool kind where you take a bowl and filler up with yogurt of your choice and then you add toppings galore. I love the fresh strawberries, blueberries and sliced almonds. They also have boba, which are those little colored ball looking things that are filled with fruit juice… yum! The price is based on weight. I typically pay 5 – 6 bucks for a killer, heaping bowl of frozen goodness. The guy who runs the place is extremely polite and helpful. I don’t know if this custom yogurt concept has caught on yet, but I enjoyed this more than the gelato place across the way.

Don’t know why the reviews haven’t been good here. The service is always prompt, the donuts are always good and fresh. I actually prefer the donuts here over some of the more popular competitors. They don’t have quite as wide a variety as some places, but the quality is always good and consistent.

Really bad donuts. Came down from Conroe in search of a good donut. Love the location and it is a really nice and big store which I thought bode well. It didn’t. I got 2 chocolate, 2 glaze and 2 cinnamon twists. I wanted to sample their ability. The conclusion is that they have none. The glaze was the only bearable one, but for $ 5 I threw the others away. They have their grease too low when they cook them and thus the donuts end up absorbing wayyyyyyy too much grease and then tasting like a nasty greasy sponge. Typical of these little places too with anything cinnamon there is zero cinnamon taste, zero! And given the grease flavor, that is pretty much it. Obviously no one eats donuts without the understanding there is no redeeming nutritional value, but to have the donuts then also taste and remind you of the grease they are cooked in is like rubbing your face in it.
