You will never find a barn with more school horses than Tally Ho. They are all kept in excellent condition and never used more than once a day… What other barn can say that? The instructors are honest and direct in feedback. They know your skill level and you will know it too. This enables trust between the students and the instructors. The owners and instructors are extremely knowledgeable about riding and horse care. The grooms are very polite. I’ve been at this barn for over 10 years. I never worry about my horse when I’m away or traveling. The barn uses some of the best vet care and farriers in the area. The level of care and trust us amazing here.
Tally Ho also helps it’s student purchase and train horses. There is no pressure to show but plenty of opportunity. There are also clinics, barn parties, parents night out, and two annual in-barn shows. Come check it out. Tally Ho also has the friendliest students around!

I would not recommend riding at this farm for the following reasons: 1) Management was unpleasant and unprofessional to deal with. 2) Safety standards were sub-standard, both in the riding arena and around the farm. I was injured no less than 3 times, 2 times of which happened when I wasn’t even riding. All 3 times were preventable given better supervision and safety practices. 3) The farm appears dilapidated and in need of a cleaning and better upkeep. There are cobwebs in the stalls, debris, and items in a state of disuse and disrepair all around the farm.

Great farm for lessons or boarding! Quality staff and school horses. I have had my horses here, taken lessons, and had my daughter in lessons for about 6 years now. Highly recommended.
