This place was good but they closed up shop in August to go on vacation according to a note on their door. I drive by it on the way home from work and it looks vacant. They are Closed for good.

I wanted to like this place. But every time I call, I can’t get through. Add another line for christs sake. You’re losing business. Get it together already.

I finally ordered something other than the French fries. Got the curdy burger and they actually made it rare for me, which places won’t often do. The roll was legit and there was a decent amount of Cajun curds on the burger, but the meat took the show. Homemade, exquisitely spiced, and if you had told me this was a 12 oz hamburger patty I’d’ve believed it. Massive! Tasty! My only kind of complaint is the side of macaroni and cheese I ordered. It was $ 4.50 and not worth it. It was only every day macaroni and cheese. But still, this is a burger and fries place, so my five star review stands. Go to Ponti’s!

The nerve of an owner making deliveries.. I ordered takeout while at work. When my food came I was I the middle of a project and couldn’t get away. When I can up to get my food one of my associates said the delivery guy left me a message to never order from his place again because I didn’t leave a tip. I called this place and asked for a the owner.. The women says he’s out on deliveries… I told her since he doesn’t want me to ever order from there again I’ll make sure the 145 associates that work for me never orders from there again.. So tell me… why would an owner want a tip? This place has just found a place on my D-List.

My first time at Ponti’s was a great experience. I went during this winter, and since the weather has been so poor I decided I wanted to go to a walkable place to eat some grub. We ordered the buffalo chicken cheesesteak, the Mansfield steak, and the Left Winger fries. Everything was excellent! This was probably one of the better buffalo chicken cheesesteaks I ever had. The Mansfield steak was a little misleading, but still really good. We were hoping it was more of a pork sandwich, but really it is a steak sandwich with BBQ pork as an ingredient put on top. If you are looking for a full pork sandwich there is another one. Either way it was still really good, and the pulled pork that was on the steak was very tasty. Both were even good as a leftover! I ordered more of a simple french fry, but it was still amazing. Next time I will be more adventurous now that I know they do the fries so well. Very courteous staff, and it was great they were even there during a storm! Definitely recommend it to anyone in the Conshohocken area who wants a good steak sandwich.

The cheesesteaks here are stacked. You can get them made with hamburger, steak, or chicken. I’ve tried a few, but the chicken mushroom medley is my favorite. If you add a side order of their fries(I always get the ones that are like poutine, but I wish the cheese was a little meltier), you probably won’t be able to finish the whole meal, so you’ll likely have some sandwich leftover for later too. I’ve only ever gotten takeout, but they’re really pleasant on the phone and delivery is almost always very fast.

$ 28 for two cheesesteaks and a large gravy fries? Cheesesteaks nothing to write home about either. If your paying that much the steaks should have been the best. Go to Pete’s or Lenny’s in the neighborhood, you’ll pay less but get more. Once this fad dies down the windows will be boarded up, and this place will be another fly by night outfit.

Although not nutritious, was delicious! I was here a week or so ago and I have to say I’ll definitely be back. One think to watch out for: The pulled pork on the left side of the menu is cheese steak based while the pulled pork on the right side of the menu is all pulled pork. Also, the drinks are great! Try one of their specialty bottled sodas instead of craving your usual foutain drink. This great little 3 employee restaurant is another reason I love Conshohocken!

Putting in crazy OT at work and decided to order from here before I left work. Lady that answered phone was very down to earth and pleasant. I ordered the Porkey Pig and Cordon Bleu eggrolls. Got home and everything was piping hot. Pleasantly surprised by this place. Potato skins were crisp and mashed potato filling flavorful. BBQ pork was moist with a sweet smoky flavor. The egg rolls were unique. Taste wise, they were good but a bit dry. Spicy mustard compensated for that. All in all, I’m willing to go again and try new things.

Food was decent especially for a lazy Sunday. I give it three stars because the delivery guy was so rude, it’s hard to order there again. He was in the wrong building and yelled at me for taking so long to come down. I explained I could not find him and he snapped again until he realized he was wrong

Ok, so admittedly I am a rookie with cheesesteaks but this sandwich was so good! My first in PA. The bread was soft and the meat was tender. I ordered the Carbone which had mushrooms, peppers and onions in it. Oh so good! I think they forgot the cheese on my sandwich though. Either that or it was there but was a thin slice. The sandwich was still very good with or without cheese. The lady(who may have been the owner) was so friendly and helpful in describing the different options. There are so many combinations to choose from for sandwiches and side orders of fries. I only wish that I lived nearby so I could try them all over time. The fries were excellent as well. Not sure why the fellow Unilocaler below dinged them on the quality of the fries. Mine were fried and seasoned perfectly and tasted fresh.

Counter staff was courteous. Fries tasted frozen. If they weren’t, they were definitely nothing to be excited about. Not worth going back for. No vegetarian options(besides the fries). Maybe if they added an awesome veg steak I’d feel differently.

We very much enjoyed Ponti’s. Service: The people behind the counter were very friendly, and our order was prepared quickly. Food: Delicious! We all enjoyed our steaks, and the Pontini(French fry platter) we ordered. The cheesesteaks were stuffed with meat. The French fries are made on-site and were quite good. Dining room: There is limited seating at Ponti’s, though we liked sitting in the window at front of the shop. The restaurant is orderly and kept clean. The only criticism we had about the entire experience was that the meat could have been better drained before being put on the roll: Our sandwiches were a little soggy at the bottom. This is a minor complaint since our sandwiches did not stay on the plate long!

OK I had bookmarked this little joint a while ago to see what the hype was about, but never had the chance to go in until today. I have to say that the size alone for a regular cheese steak is beautiful, looks like they fill the roll up pretty good. I decided to test out their skills in making a cheese steak with a Mt. Mansfield. I could not believe what it consisted of that just had my mouth watering in anticipation just from reading it. Oh I could only imagine how enormous this is going to be with an order of their signature fries. I’m sorry I stand corrected they are called«Signature Pontini«instead of fries. So with my cheese steak already selected I went with the Left Winger to compliment my meal. A small order of the Pontini’s(fries) nothing crazy to go along with this steak, which by the way comes in one size only, large. This brought a tear to my eye just thinking of how big this is going to be, the art work, the love that will be going into creating this masterpiece. The Mt. Mansfield can come in a burger form, cheese steak form or as a chicken cheese steak. I went with the cheese steak version. It is a cheese steak with pulled pork added on top, with fried onions, pepper jack cheese, topped with BBQ sauce. Oh how I was excited to bite into this mamma jamma ! As I had taken my first bite all of a sudden I hit dry spots in the meat, where it was over cooked, taking away from that juicy, greasy full of flavor taste. Sad to say also the pork didn’t really help out the cause, trying to make up for that over cooked steak I was picturing to taste different. I figured this would be an instant winner, a delicious blend of the meats perfectly cooked, and seasoned. I had to apologize to my taste buds thinking they were going to be happy The left winger is a combo of old bay, melted provolone, with mozzarella cheese, scallions and smothered in ranch. Presentation looked great, still simmering, the smell of the old bay just hovering over me making my mouth water again. I had added a little more kick to it with some Sriracha hot sauce on top to make it complete. Only thing is with the 2 different cheeses melted over top this was going to become on solid french fry if i didn’t act fast on it. **note** They need to add some more ranch to it, you could barely taste a hint of it prior to me adding Sriracha Paula and the crew kept everything in order, orders were kept in an orderly manner. The place is clean, a little small. They do have window seating with 4 – 5 seats, also side seating where the counter is. In all I was a little disappointed in my first visit, I guess with all that hype I was expecting something of that nature. I will give them another shot to see if anything has changed with a possible update to follow if all goes well. Maybe I hit them on an off night, everyone deserves a second chance.

I’d been meaning to check this place out since it opened a few months ago. Finally, after running through most of the conshy lunch gamut, I brought a friend along with me to check it out. They sell several different variations of three main things. Cheesesteaks, burgers, fries. I’m a purist, so I got a cheesesteak«without» to go and some fries with chili and cheddar on it. The smell of the bag made me think I had winner. I wasn’t disappointed. The fries portion is huge. The steak has a lot of flavor The property is small with only lunch counter seating. The staff was nice and explained the menu well. I’ll be back.

Dude. This is the spot in Conshy for steaks. The Medley with Whiz is where its at. The fries are on par with NJ boardwalk(hometown) fries. Delicious. A bit pricey and a slow at lunch, so I dropped a star. This is my second visit and they’ve redeemed themselves. The first visit was a nightmare. 45 minutes for a few steaks and fries, and I got chicken that time which was dry and definitely«meh». My advice: go all in and choose beef steak, Whiz it up, and grab a GIANT bucket of fries. Your stomach will thank you, your waistline, not so much.

First time in and I’m a big fan. I like the menu, I like the food, and I liked the people working there. The Menu — I always like it when places come up with interesting sandwich, burgers, or steak combos rather than just saying«here’s what we have, you figure it out». All the combos are available on either a burger or cheesesteak. One is called the Carbone which appeals to my inner goodfella. They also have baked potatoes with four different combinations of toppings. Don’t see that everyday at a cheesesteak place. Great menu. The Food — I had the Mt. Mansfield burger which has pulled pork, fried onions, pepper jack cheese and BBQ sauce on top of a HUGE and very flavorful burger. I was really impressed with the quality of the burger given its size and the fact that they offer so many toppings that could easily cover for a somewhat bland burger. Great job there. I also had the Chilean fries(fries topped with chili and cheddar). These were solid but were overshadowed by the burger for me. Next time I’ll get the gravy fries. As other reviewers have noted, the people working at Ponti’s are polite and friendly. You can tell its their place and they care whether you enjoy your food or not. The are comes thru in the me u, the food, and the service. They want you to come back and I definitely will. One note: it’s a bit expensive for this type of food(my burger was $ 9.25, and a small order of the chili fries was $ 5.25) but the portions are huge and good so I think it’s worth it. You can split a burger or a cheesesteak and fries with a friend and both walk away full.

Wow! From start to finish amazing. Called and got friendly service. Double checked my address and number in case. Very thoughtful. Got it within 30 mins. Hot and amazing. What else can you ask for? I got the mt. Mansfield burger and its great! Pulled pork+bacon+burger=genius and the BBQ sauce is a good touch. Girlfriend got the tenders with honey mustard. They’re no fwot but they’re fresh and hand made. The fries are the masterpiece. The whizzle all the way! Hope they open later for the bar crowd and you’ve got a staple!

I went there with a coworker for lunch. We were promptly greeted by a friendly woman running the cash register. Once she found out we were newbies she kindly gave us a run down of the menu. We ended up splitting a small Texas Round Up(Pulled pork, fried onions and cajun cheese curds sans jalapenos) and the triple play(fresh peppers with fried onions added.) both were delicious. You can tell all the ingredients were fresh and things were made to order. The pulled pork on the fries was to die for and the fries reminded me of hot and fresh boardwalk fries. I wish i could give this place 4.5 stars. I think they are still working out some of the newly open kinks but all and all I would def return and look forward to trying some of there other crazy combinations.

Let me start out by saying my partner and I think Ponti’s deserves a solid 3.5 for our first meal from the newly opened establishment. We also plan on giving it another chance and will hopefully amend our star rating in accordance :) We’ve been waiting a while for a truly awesome cheesesteak in Conshy and we’re hoping Ponti’s delivers! Our experience: We ordered take out and it was ready promptly. Their menu features primarily– you guessed it– steaks and spuds! Although they have many iterations, and some very creative ones at that. Reading their menu reminded me of reading the menu at Rutgers’ Grease Trucks– lots of items in a big, «fat» sandwich! In addition to steaks and smothered spuds, they have hot dogs, a salad, shakes, and a few other fryer made foods. I noticed they use Liscio’s rolls(the Philadelphia standard) so that is a big bonus. I ordered simple figuring if they had the the basics down, I’d try something new the next go around. My plain chicken cheesesteak with provolone had a great meat flavor(lightly peppered), but fell short in the cheese department. A dry cheesesteak is just a sin! I’m planning on trying the whiz next time since the provolone was not a win. My partner ordered a «Buffalo Bill», aka a buffalo chicken cheesesteak. This chicken steak was on point– the perfect ratio of meat to roll with cheese and sauce mixed in. The whole thing was moist and flavorful and frankly, I was jealous. We each got a side order of fries. I opted for the basic side and really enjoyed them– your standard boardwalk fry flavor. My partner paid $ 3 more to get a small«Copy Cat»(cheese curds melted on top of fries with brown gravy) and it was a disappointment. It wasn’t what he had expected and not really worth the extra dollars for the flavors. Ponti’s, we’re happy to have you in Conshy! We are hopeful that the kinks will get worked out and we’ll get to rate you higher :)
