The Sweet Spot

Returned and such disappointment. Friend ordered cupcakes for her daughter’s birthday party and it was horrible! We had a Costco cake and a huge variety of the cupcakes catered from sweet spot cupcakes. Everyone took a bite out of the cupcakes and threw them away asking for the Costco cake. Even the kids said the cupcakes were gross. Not returning.

This place is reopened right down the street suite 100 it’s great. must stop. Alright flavors include red velvet triple chocolate carrot cake German chocolate banana and cream Terre Missouri chocolate men Oreo cookies n cream white chocolate mousse chocolate peanut butter and many many more calories consumed with friends don’t count

Went by there today, 10÷2÷13, and they are closed until further notice! Sure not a good sign. I loved their cupcakes!

I went in here for the first time today hoping to satisfy a craving for a cupcake with a mound of delicious frosting on top (I’m a sucker for thick, sugary frosting). I got 4 different cupcakes and couldn’t wait to get home to sample each one. However, I was extremely disappointed to discover that 3 of the cupcakes (Banana Cream, Big Red, and Snickerdoodle) had whipped cream on top, not actual frosting. The only cupcake that had real frosting was the plain vanilla cupcake I got, and that frosting was awful. I’m not a picky eater at all, but I had to spit out this frosting. It tasted extremely artificial and pasty.
The only cupcake I enjoyed was the Snickerdoodle, but I would’ve enjoyed it alot more if it had had real frosting on it.
I did like that the cupcakes were huge and there were lots to choose from (at least 15 flavors).
At first I thought the customer service could be better, but then when I went to checkout the lady was actually nice. My total was $ 12 and I handed the lady a 20, but for some reason she couldn’t open the register yet to get change, and all she had was a 10. So she asked me if I had 2 ones, but said if not, she would just give me the cupcakes for $ 10. So that was nice.
But long story short, I won’t be going back.

I have never had cupcakes that were that awesome. The best ever. I bought two and ate them both. I will go back for sure and if my diet would allow it I would be there every single day. LOVE IT !!!

We love The Sweet Spot. The cupcakes are always fresh and beautiful to look at. The folks that run the place are always friendly and I can tell they enjoy what they do. The party room for the kids is pink and bright and if I had to host a child’s birthday party I would absolutely choose The Sweet Spot!

The most delicious cupcakes I’ve ever had! I purchased a Groupon for this place b/​c I needed cupcakes for my son’s birthday party & I couldn’t be happier. I will never go to another place for cakes or cupcakes again. Tons of flavors to choose from (the banana cream cupcakes are my favorite!), reasonably priced, warm & friendly staff… overall an excellent business. Would highly reccommend to anyone!

I ordered cupcakes and a 6″ cake for my small wedding party last weekend, and do not think I could have had a better experience. I do believe the cupcakes which were vanilla topped with white chocolate mousse icing and white chocolate shavings with raspberry filling, were the best I have ever had. The icing was so light and smooth, without being overpowering, and the cake was amazingly fluffy. I received so many compliments from my guests! The owner also sat down with me and helped my design my cake, which had white fondant and a lace design, and precious little fondant hearts. I had decided on this design after she showed several photos of orders she had done, and my order met all of my expectations. This place knows what customer service is about, something that I couldn’t even PAY Kate’s Frosting to provide. I give it 5 stars for taste, presentation, customer service, and fun!

I cant believe they’ve been open for a year and I just discovered The Sweet Spot! If you haven’t tried them, you should! The Sweet Spot is located a little off the beaten path, next to a salon. This cupcakery is very nicely decorated and I just met the owner today and she’s a very sweet person!
They have cupcake parties for kids, AKA you can schedule cute birthday parties for children to build their own cupcakes which is very cool.
I give them 4 for having a cute shop, lovely, large cupcakes, and the cute mini spoons they’ll add to your box of cupcakes.
I’d change my 4 to a 5 if they offered day old cupcake discounts and had a larger rotating flavor selection (Kate’s Frosting).
Either way, this place is great and the cupcakes are delicious!
