Okay. So if you don’t know how to review a movie theater, maybe you shouldn’t. We visit different theaters throughout the region(Horry, Florence, Marion Counties) and Frank is our favorite. The crowd is usually very sparse, yet it never feels creepy-empty. Food prices are normal. If the other reviewer didn’t have enough butter, it’s his own fault. They give you the popcorn, and then you put the butter on yourself – as much or as little as you want. I can’t speak for the other food offerings, but I imagine it’s the same quality as you get at convenience stores, etc. I wouldn’t expect fine dining nachos from a theater. Franks also offers an arcade with an air hockey table(yay!). The facilities are nice and new, and I’ve never seen the floors dirty or had any complaints about the cleanliness of the restrooms. I mean, really, it has never provided less than a pleasant experience.

How do you really review a movie theatre? They all do the same thing and it’s hard for them to stand out. This one is a no-frills operation with special pricing for early shows. I went to a movie today and found out how they can afford such low prices on the movies. The food here is TERRIBLE! Stale popcorn with very little butter(or whatever passes for butter), drinks that taste as if they have been watered down and don’t even try the prepared foods. I tasted the nachos and paid for it for hours. The prices on the food are also ridiculous(typical, I know). I usually bring in granola snacks and bottled water in my cargo shorts. That would be my advice to you if you go here. The facilities here need a little face lift as well. I also think they could work on their cleaning schedule. We went in for the first show of the day and the floors inside the theatre were filthy. I like the theatre experience(you can’t rely on Red Box for everything) but next time I will be driving out to the beach to check out their theatres to see if they offer anything better.
