Clean with friendly staff. Quick to greet us and deliver our food. Burger was good but nothing special. Onion rings are right out the bag and bland. My wife’s hot roast beef sandwich was delicious! I’ll get that next time with the fries.

Had the sirloin lunch special. Sirloin, corn, mashed potatoes w/gravy a roll and drink for $ 8.99. Sirloin was very tough. There were no clean tables when we came in and the sign said seat yourself, so we did and then the waitress chastised us for setting at a dirty table stating«when peppy sit at dirty tables we still not know that you just came in, even though she watched us come on and sit down. Not your typical southern hospitality that we’ve had everywhere else. She even said«can you stand up, so I can clean off the table?» She seemed to have an attitude. Fortunately she didn’t actually wait on is and the young girl that did was very nice. I’d try their hamburgers instead next time, since they are supposed to be very good.

Friendly staff, great food at a great price and an awesome atmosphere. For a nice lunch, there’s not much more you could ask for. Love the retro diner look. It really adds to the feel of the restaurant. It’s like stepping back into 1950s Conway, SC.

What an awesome retro 50s diner! Friendly service, great prices, and great portions. I like the burgers at this place — they’re 6 ounce patties, which is the size of your standard hamburger buns you’d get at a grocery store. Everything runs like $ 3 – 6, plus a couple of more bucks for additional sides. They also have shakes you can get too — it’s a 50s diner, why not? Definitely stopping here the next time we’re in Conway.
