Their tacos are delicious… Cheese dip is to die for. I’m usually not a huge fan of Mexican food but love Tacos for Life

One of my favorite restaurants! I would eat here 3x week if I could. :) Love the vibe and décor and staff and most of all, the food! Love this place.

Everything I’ve ever eaten here has just left me quite disappointed. Especially the queso. I respect the cause they are contributing to, but that’s not enough for me regularly spend that much on 3 tacos that aren’t(in my opinion) particularly good.

What a gem! I’ve been here twice now just passing through Conway while traveling and I am really impressed with this taco joint. They have a wide range of different types of tacos and other entrees. My favorite tacos are the counselor(Korean bbq, cabbage, won tons, and yum yum sauce!) and the buffalo chicken. I have zero complaints– they are both delicious. I also tried the crab cake taco the last time I went and it was phenomenal… sauce and all! In terms of sides, I’ve only tried the corn and I thought it was really good. We also tried the chips and queso. A personal size was enough for my husband and I. One of the most awesome things about this restaurant though is that for every meal you buy, they donate a meal to a child suffering from hunger. I think that’s awesome! If you haven’t tried it, it’s definitely worth the stop!

Incredible food. The first bite I took… I instantly said«WOW!» My husband and I drive 30 miles from Cabot to eat here! Everything we have ordered has been amazing!

Fantastic tacos! When I found out my work was taking me back to Conway, my first though was, «I’ve got to go back to Tacos 4 Life!» They have such a wide variety of tacos you could get two different ones a day for ten days! My favorite one has to be the Cuban pork taco, with pork, bacon, Gouda, pickles and a spicy sauce, but the buffalo chicken is close, it’s the perfect combination of buffalo and bleu cheese in every bite. I really enjoyed every taco I have tried, and would put them in my top 3 taco establishments. They also have a house made tropical punch that is delicious. And it’s good to know that they are donating a meal for every taco sold to combat childhood hunger.

Cute place, friendly staff, respectable cause. But the food leaves a lot to be desired for me. Tacos were small, cold, and the taste was off. Tasted old. Side item options were pretty gross too. Rice tasted like it had been sitting for days and dried out.

Never had a bad meal or bad service when here. The cheese dip and chips are bomb and every taco sold helps feed kids in poverty, so cool!

Great food and great service! The staff was super friendly and helpful. It’s a little expensive but they donate food to a place in Africa as a 1 for 1, so that is commendable. Very cool atmosphere. I will definitely be going back.

Awesome menus! Vegan and vegetarian options. Great flavors, clean restrooms and fun open kitchen atmosphere. Short edit even when busy and helpful cashier! I ordered the fish taco– excellent coleslaw flavor on top, the greens and beans were very savory and the cashier recommended a vegan Mediterranean chickpea taco. It had a nice cilantro lime flavor do I’m not sure what was Mediterranean about it but excellent!

Awesome, awesome, awesome. From the moment you walk in the door you know the food is going to be good. Your nose will immediately alert you to the delicious aromas of the food you are about to treat yourself to. On this visit I had the steak and cheese quesadilla with the lime rice. It was great.

Yummy tacos! I love that you can get a variety… I usually get the medium(2 tacos and a side). The Counselor and Cuban are a couple of my favs but I’ve never had one that I absolutely didn’t like… even the veggie ones, like the corn poblano, I’ve had are yummy(I’m a meat eater thru and thru). I love the mission of feeding others and I’ve always had great customer service.

We were set out from Nashville on a trip to Arizona. We stopped in here the first day for dinner and it was so good, we decided to make it a waypoint on the way back! We tried five different tacos and they were all great! The Mexican Cream-style Corn is impeccable and the Refried Blacks Beans were on point. The chips and queso were great! The chips are huge!!! The housemade fruit punch was very real. We bought a gallon on the way home! The customer services was really awesome too! The manager remembered us from the week before and even remembered what tacos I tried so that I could try different ones this time. We wish we had one of these in Nashville!

These tacos are amazing and delicious. The concept of the restaurant is admirable too. I highly recommend this place. The tortillas on the tacos seem to be fried so a little different than other place — yummy!

My Wife, daughter, and son-in-law went here today because it is a favorite of theirs. The premise is great. Buy a meal and they provide a meal to you and a hungry child somewhere in the world. The premise alone would bring us regularly if we were from here, but the tacos were really good. I had the Buffalo Chicken and the Chipotle Steak tacos with Cilantro Lime rice. The tacos were both very good and very filling. The rice was different than anything I have ever had before. Good, but I would stand in line for it. Might try the beans next time. Nice atmosphere and nice people. You order at the counter and pick it up. If you are looking for full service place this not it. But there is plenty of seating and they clear the table.

I read Dylan’s review and it was spot on. If I hadn’t a.) been dining with a colleague and b.) famished from an early morning workout and no time for breakfast I wouldn’t have eaten a bite of this food. First, the whole charity thing: I guess I fed someone somewhere faraway? I have no idea where or why but don’t worry, they are certainly smiling children of color(ambiguously African or Afro-Hatian) from the looks of their website/blog. I also don’t know what the bureaucratic procedure is or who is managing the meal distribution. I also got a distinctly religious/missionary vibe to the whole thing. Food is food… but I seriously hope it’s not going to kids under the umbrella of a conversion or proselytizing effort. In an effort to find out more about the«Meal 4 Meal» thing I scoured the website. The«read our story» link just sends you to aforementioned picture of happy, ostensibly recently fed black children running for joy. Smacks of this: Gross. Oh, and the food was disgusting. All of it. The rice was weirdly greasy and flavorless despite the freakish green color. I had the grilled chicken taco — fast food tasting chargrilled chicken strips with flaccid lettuce, sour cream, and some other saucy blend. It was all bland. It all came on a greasy fry bread type thing that tasted like old fryer oil. I also had the carnitas taco because, hey, carnitas is the way to go at a taco place, right? Yeah. It was SO bad. Imagine the delicious crispy and yet oh-so-tender pork that makes up even the most mediocre of taqueria carnitas. Sprinkle on some minimal garnish — onions, cilantro, maybe a squirt of lime — on top of a grilled freshly made corn tortilla. Now, shatter your hopes and dreams. You’ve got mush on a cold flour tortilla. Yep, mush. Flavorless mush. Like creamed pork tendrils. Yes, a cold flour tortilla. I’m still bummed about this. Bad food under the precedent of a charity that a majority of the patrons know nothing about is not cool. And they were *blasting* mainstream country music(could barely hear my colleague). I accept that Unilocal reviewers are required to give one star. I had a Jarritos(tamarind flavor of course) that was as awesome as ever. Totally worth one star.
