The ribs and pulled pork were amazing, gasp inducingly good. The brisket was delicious. The service was warm and friendly. But the cornbread was kind of gummy and the fried okra didn’t do much for me. Maybe I ordered the wrong sides or maybe I should ignore the sides and focus on the BBQ but they didn’t quite earn the 5 stars that the smell from the parking lot promised. 2013 #161 /365

From top to bottom, twisted pig is worth the hop over from the beach. Great customer service, amazing que, perfect bannana pudding. Lady and I both had the two meat platter that comes with three competition caliber spare ribs. We both ordered th e pulled shoulder and beef brisket. Perfect smoke on all, delicious glaze on the ribs. Pulled shoulder and brisket were both tender and full of flavor. Greens and mac n’ cheese were both what you would expect given the quality of the meat. Big thumbs up. Corn muffins and hushpuppies were moist, sweet and a solid addition. Was given a sample of the sweet potato suffle, also perfect. Finished up with some of the best bannana pudding we both had in quite some time. All sauces were up to par, hickory was molassas heavy, which I enjoyed. Big fan of the eastern carolina amd vinegar as well. Very deserving of the five stars.

BBQ baked beans with peaches — what inspired my boyfriend and I to make the trek over here from Little River(where we were staying)! That and the review from that stated that this was the best BBQ joint in/near Myrtle Beach! The woman who gave them that title was NOT wrong. This place is AMAZING. We were greeted by Joe, the owner of the place, and he could not have been friendlier or more welcoming! We ordered enough food for 4 or so people(we wanted to try everything): Full rack of St. Louis ribs 1 lb of smoked wings(smoked then fried!!) Pulled pork sandwich Sides: Hush puppies(the best I’ve ever had — it had pieces of corn inside) Baked beans with peaches(mouth wateringly good) Mac & Cheese Sweet Potato Soufflé Cole slaw As well as half a gallon of sweet tea. Sweet Lord was that all delicious! This is one of the best BBQ places I’ve been to(and I’ve been to places all over the country), and it made me wish I lived closer! Their wing are OUTOFTHISWORLD. Served with hickory BBQ sauce I could’ve eaten way more than the pound, as well as the full rack of ribs. Boyfriend kept talking about how smokey and delicious everything was! They also have a food stand at the Myrtle Beach Speedway — so you should definitely check it out one way or another! Totally worth the drive!!! They’re closed on Sundays and Mondays and close at 8pm at night. I also hear their banana pudding is amazing — they had sold out by the time we got there. This place is SO good. As Joe is awesome! You can tell he’s passionate about the food he puts out and it shows!

This is a great little restaurant with fantastic ribs and a good pecan pie! Also enjoyed their peach baked beans and smooth as silk cole slaw. The place is clean as a whistle and, while you have the order at the counter, the staff is very friendly.

This was a great little BBQ joint. Relaxed, reasonably priced, very friendly service, and very tasty food. We tried the pulled pork and beef brisket, w a variety of sides. The peach baked beans and the okra were our favorites. They smoke the brisket out back for 12 – 15 hrs. Highly recommended.

This is a good local BBQ restaurant. They have all the typical meats and sides. I tried the sampler and found the pulled pork to be quite good. The brisket was ok and the ribs were good. They have a variety of homemade BBQ sauces. The Mac and cheese was by far the best side we had but the others were all good. The strawberry cake was very good but unfortunately they were out of other desserts. They are closed on sun and mon. Really small but nice and clean restaurant just out of myrtle beach. It’s far faster to drive there via Grissom sand then international ave than to go back up 501. They have plenty of parking. Give it a try.

3 orders placed, 3 orders came out wrong. Other than that, food was good. Garlic potatoes were good, ribs a little under cooked and tough(left meat on the bones, could not pull clean). Jalapeño cornbread was really good as well as the pulled pork. My son had the kids pulled chicken sliders and he liked them. I will try again if I get the chance because I believe it was an off day for them. Double check to make sure your order is correct.

Ribs are outstanding! I went in with a party of 11 and we were greeted and welcomed even though the place has only been in business 14 weeks. The baked beans are outstanding as well as the ribs. I fully recommend this BBQ!

Their pulled pork is just awesome. The brisket is as good as well. They do an amazing corn fritter — spectacular. Baked beans with peaches: Yes. They are passionate about their food. This is a new restaurant. Shiny and clean with a small, pleasant dining room. Best in the Myrtle Beach area? Easily.
