People in this company are rude and condescending. One of their sales person, the woman calling to confirm appointments Stephanie Franco, I think is her name… is very very rude. After reading reviews in Consumer Reports and other online reviews I decided not to go to their event and she called me to ask why I did not go and told me that the phone number was on the«invitation», that I should have called to cancel. By that time, the«invitation» was already i n the garbage. If you do research online and you will see that they do not offer big savings as they advertise and they corner people to sign up to their membership… around $ 5,000. Yes, you need to pay $ 5K in order to save in the future… I can’t imagine how I would make that money back… pushy, rude, condescending… don’t go there.

I received an invitation to an Open House at DirectBuy and was curious to see what they will all about after seeing all their ads. I made my appointment online for a Friday morning 2 weeks out and got my email confirmation of the appointment. Between that day and the next business day, a very aggressive and impolite sales person named Latisha called me 3 times to confirm, after I had already received my email confirmation. On the day of my appointment I drove 25 miles and arrived a few minutes early per the email request only to find out the location had decided to close for the day. I did not get any emails or phone calls requesting to cancel or change my appointment and no one has answered my voicemails yet. Unfortunately, there is not a phone number on the website for the corporate office or any customer service department. Upon further research, I discovered the membership fee is $ 4900 and they make you sit through hours of video testimonial before disclosing the fee. In the end, Latisha’s rudeness, unprofessional behavior and incompetence cost me less time and less frustration than if she had her act together to show up to work for our appointment. Either way, this is a business to stay away from.
