So let me start by saying my husband and I work in the film industry. The TV show Sleepy Hollow moved to Conyers about a month ago. This restaurant is the closest one to the studio… there are about 150 full time employees that will be there until March/April 2016. That being said, this place needs to re-evaluate their staffing needs. We walked in at 12:03 and didn’t even have iced tea to our table until 12:15…order placed and server put it in at 12:17… We took our food in to-go boxes at 12:42!!! 25 minutes for lunch menu specials? Ugh I drove 40 min each way so my husband did not get to eat his lunch until his 3pm break and I ate mine 40 minutes later alone on my sofa. They will have to step up their game. My husband will not be back! Mexican restaurants are traditionally fast at lunch… So my advice, if your break is 45 or less, go somewhere else or be prepared to be late back to work or eat your lunch out of a box after your lunch break is over! Very very disappointed!

Atmosphere was OK, but the food was really crappy. Ate here at lunch when in Conyers for business, paid $ 25 for two people after tip. Don’t think I’ll be back.

I love Los Charros. The price is excellent and they have a large choice of food items. Very authentic Mexican food. The authentic tacos are the best. They are made with steak instead of ground beef. The bring a side of cilantro, onions and salaa verde. They have keoroke on Friday nights playing salsa music. Great environment for kids.

Service slow on a Tuesday night. Came because it is my daughters favorite. Stale chips. No offer of a cold glass with my bottles of beer. Salsa and white cheese dip mediocre. The booths are nice and place is clean but I won’t be back unless I am with my daughter. I ordered deluxe vegetable Quesadilla. served piping hot which I appreciate, but no rice or beans on side. My wife ordered the Taco salad. Complained no spices in meat. I tasted and sure enough, she ‘s right. Almost tasteless. When I shared this review with my daughter, she said: Dad, they are better than that. Lets try again together.

This is our go-to Mexican restaurant because of our kids. They are friendly and their prices are very reasonable with consistently good quality nearly every time. On the rare occasions we’ve had something wrong or not good quality, they fix it every time. Try their roasted salsa. We’ve known the family that owns this place for years and they are always there… which says a lot about the care they take with their restaurant.

Had an oppurtunity to go in the kitchen here after hours and the nachos and shells were left out over night. Piles of dirty dishes and discarded food were left in bus trays piled up on the floor in the kitchen. The food is ok and the service is decent, not good not bad. If someone brought me here and paid for the dinner id be ok with coming here, otherwise I would suggest driving right past here to one of the other restaurants in the area.

By far one of the best Mexican joints around. Been going to this«chain» now for 20 years now. I live 10+ miles away and bypass many other local joints to eat here. The beef does need some work. But if you stick with chicken or shrimp you’ll be good. Speedy service and cheap prices will keep me coming back.

Ambiance is decent, typical Mexican restaurant décor. Service is generally pretty good. However, the food is a big ok. The beans and rice lacked seasoning, but the salsa was pretty decent. The food is fairly authentic, but they sell out when the serve tacos on FLOUR tortillas. I’ve had the tacos a few times because the meat is pretty good. Sometimes they bring the onions and cilantro on the side, sometimes they just never bring it out. And its kind of annoying that I have to ask for my tacos on Corn tortillas, considering I’ve been eating tacos for my whole life and the only place I even knew of that served them on flour was Taco Bell. Corn should always be the standard with flour available if someone asks. Since I’ve moved to Georgia from LA, my biggest gripe with Mexican food on the East coast is that they stray too much from the traditional preparation of the food. So overall I give Los Charros a 4 out of 10.

Had the best tacos of carne asada that I’ve had in many years, the last time I tasted tacos this good was the last time I ate in Chamblee, several years ago. They were very authentic and delicious and the two sauces, cilantro and onions that are served on the side, compliment the tacos along with the rice and beans that are served with the meal, the beer mugs were frozen and just added to the taste of the meal. Will return many times in this lifetime.
