Michaels

Went there after printing off three coupons. I needed to pay for my items, the three items I picked up for my daughter, and two items a friend requested separately. After I paid for mine (with a 15% off coupon), the cashier rang up the next three items as a separate transaction. When I handed him a 50% off coupon, I was told that the coupons were one per day per person. I didn’t bother getting my friend’s items there since they were more expensive without a coupon than the Walmart a few yards away. If I had another option to get what I needed elsewhere (for the price after the coupon) I would have returned everything on the spot.
I didn’t realize that I could not use two DIFFERENT coupons for SEPARATE transactions using two different payment methods (cash and credit card). It wasn’t like that a year ago. I know I’m not the only one who has to shop for multiple people and how is it really any different than having my teen and friend stand behind me and pay, besides two less person in line? I’m grateful that I was able to apply two coupons this time, but this is the last time they get my business while the single coupon limit is in place.

After purchasing some great photography, I did what any other guy would have done, put it in the corner and didn’t bother to frame it and hang it. Day after day, I strolled past the pictures, still in the bag. This went on for at least 3 months. I finally came to the realization that the pictures were not going to miraculously frame themselves and jump up on my wall.
I grabbed my bag and went to the nearest Michaels. It’s located in a big ass lot, so the parking is more than enough. After looking in the frame aisle for about 2 minutes, I knew I needed help. Many thanks to the employee I inquired to. She took the time to look at numerous frames to decide which type suited each picture I had. She also recommended some items for hanging the pictures.
I left Michaels a happy camper. Now all I need to do is put the pictures in the frame and hang them up.
Let’s see how long that takes.
