My daughter-in-law went to Dr. Anderson several years ago for prenatal care. The delivery of this baby was not something I would wish on anyone! Beware!

I’ve been meaning to write this review since the beginning of the year and for some reason started thinking about it today. I guess I want to save other women from going here(aka Women’s Healthcare & Aesthetics, P.C.). This review is only for the gynecologic services received back in March 2009, I can’t speak to their aesthetic services. This was my first visit to this office and Doctor, so it’s not as if I had an established rapport with anyone there. Hence, I was a bit taken aback when upon checking me in the receptionist slid me her business card for some kind of beauty products or maybe it was weight loss stuff and said the Dr. didn’t know she was doing that, keep it on the DL. After waiting about another 40 minutes I was finally called to the back for my vitals. The nurse or nurse assistant took the vitals but before letting me go, she also gave me her secret little business flyer for yet another body-related product of some sort. WTF? I haven’t even seen the Dr after nearly an hour of waiting but I have received two underground sales pitches from the staff! Anyway, I finally make it back to the Dr., Her bedside manner was OK but nothing overly impressive. She gave me a script for birth control, which is why I was there and off I went. Less than 10 minutes of doctor attention after so much waiting but I guess we’re all used to that nowadays. Anyway, the pill she gave me wreaked havoc on my body but I stuck with it since I know it can take time to adjust. I never adjusted so I called to ask for another brand. Well, this was only 6 weeks later but 1) I couldn’t talk to the Dr, 2) they wanted to make me come in for another appointment and 3) a message left on the nurseline went unanswered. I was pissed, it hadn’t been that long for one so I saw no reason for them to require me back in the office except to get another co-pay out of me. And when they refused to allow me to even speak to the Dr, I said I obviously needed to change more than my pill and hung up. Don’t go! I also reported this to my health insurance company since they keep customer ratings.
