Beautiful job of waxing and tinting eyebrows and tinting eyelashes. Ms Phyllis is gentle and expert — no stinging or redness in my eyes. I had to change my appointment at the last minute and I was cheerfully given the next available. The brow/​lash tinting transforms my face — this will be a regular appointment. I’ve already had a facial with Katherine and started using Dermalogica products. My sensitive, combination, rosacea– afflicted skin is smoother, clearer and more radiant than it has ever been. I’ll be back for more services on skin care, makeup and massage.

I went for the first time about a month ago and had a deep tissue massage with Chasity. I’ve tried other places and Upper Hand is the best by far. Everyone is friendly and professional. I’m definitely going back.

First time experience with the Upper Hand Spa. Absolutely wonderful!!! Very professional staff. I had Swedish massage by Katherine. I let her know my trouble areas & she was amazing! I’ve booked my next service with her. You won’t be disappointed.

I enjoyed my session with Katherine. She was friendly and nice. She adjusted the massage to my comfort level. I will use her again. The spa itself was clean and the lavender scent I was provided was very relaxing. I was pleased.

I have had a sinus infection and headache for over a month. I booked a massage with Chastity and explained my problem. She was able to relieve my sinus pressure and stop my headache

Rebecca is Unreal. If you like a good Deep Tissue massage see her. I’m very picky. Had 100s of massages in LA and Miami and Rebecca is one of the best I have ever encountered.
Chastity is another great LMT there as well.
But Rebecca IS the real deal.

Pedicure with Lisa, one of the best pedicures ever. I used to be a nail tech myself so I know a good one when it happens! Very clean, uses great quality products. Also I love the merchandise that Phylliss has, great skincare line and beautiful candles are my favorite. I will absolutely be back as well as tell friends and family about this place.

Lisa gives THE BEST pedicures I’ve ever had! The best part is that she doesn’t make your foot jerk when she scrapes it — meaning it doesn’t tickle — yet it feels so smooth! My feet are definitely ready for summer!
Lisa’s shellac manicure is wonderful too. My nails look great! I’ve had several compliments on my ‘Strawberry Smoothie’ nails already today. Best part is that it will last two weeks and it is my own nail. I like that Lisa has an envelope for each client with the disposable nail tools she uses on you alone. I feel more comfortable with this.
I also recently had a Thai Massage with Rebecca. All I can say is that I was very nervous going into it. I usually have a monthly Swedish massage. I just envisioned the thai massage as hurting, but it doesn’t! you lay on the floor on a memory foam mat that was very comfortable. Rebecca moves your body to stretch the muscles. I actually felt taller when we were finished! I did not hurt much the next day — just my hips a little, but it was a good pain. I plan on scheduling another thai massage next month.
I highly recommend this spa. I have had something done by every staff member at one time or another. You can’t go wrong with any of them!

This was my first time attending the Upper Hand Day Spa. I really enjoyed the experience. Chasity performed my Reflexology session. She used a Jasmine oil. I was so relaxed during my experience; so relaxed that I fell into a deep SNORING SLEEP!!! At the close of the session, she used a Eucalyptus oil. Needless to say, I will be returning.

Excellent friendly staff. Warm and inviting facility. I received exceptional service from Phylliss Shrader. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable about the service I received but she was very nice; explaining the steps of the procedure and answered any questions I had!

Rebekah is terrific! I always feel SO much better after a massage.
I also like that Rebekah takes the time to tailor my massage to my needs instead of just offering a ‘cookie cutter/​1 size fits all’ massage.

Last time I was in I had a pedicure. Very nice experience. Professional polished look. Would recommend.

I have been going to The Upper Hand Day Spa for several years now, I get wonderful facials from Phyllis, she also does my eyebrow waxing. For a relaxing massage, I love Ashley! She is very knowledgeable about muscles and really knows what she’s doing. The overall atmosphere at The Upper Hand is professional, friendly and warm, I love going there and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to get a facial, massage waxing, nails or a pedicure.

My mom and I have been customers of Phylliss for years. Right before my May 3^rd wedding, I had a serious breakout on my face. Every brides nightmare! Phylliss used LED light treatment for my skin. I was amazed at the wonderful difference after only three treatments before the wedding. I had less redness. My acne was definitely faded to almost nothing and I didn’t have any pore marks on my face. Not only did Phylliss give me wonderful LED facial treatments but she did my individual lashes. If you’re looking for an awesome lash person to do your lashes she is the person for you. I have had individual lashes done before but she is by far, my favorite. My fiancé couldn’t even tell that my lashes weren’t real because they look so natural. And he usually fusses about individual lashes that I have had in the past from other people. Phylliss is one of the reasons I felt so pretty on my wedding day! My skin was awesome! And, my eyelashes were beautiful! Thank you Phylliss Shrader of The Upper Hand!
