I ordered a large pizza and a large antipasto salad for lunch(take out). While the pizza was delish, the meat in the salad tasted off, as in spoiled. I made a point of driving back to return the remaining salad and explain that I thought the meat was going bad. I was shocked at the response of the proprietor. I was told the that the meat couldn’t be bad–«it came off the truck this morning and was cut fresh today.» Off the truck today or not, I maintained my opinion that the meat tasted bad, that their product was unsatisfactory. I was offered a new salad, which I declined. The proprietor then flippantly offered $ 5 back(for a $ 13 salad) because we had eaten some of it. No apology was offered, and he showed no concern that his facility might be serving a spoiled product. How do you argue with that kind of ignorance?! I just took the money and left. This isn’t the first time we’ve eaten food from this restaurant, and in general, we’ve always been happy. However, I won’t go back again. In fact, I was so angry that my complaint of spoiled food wasn’t taken seriously that I’m filing a complaint with the PA Health Dept. I hope if this ever happens again, they take their customers concerns seriously.

This is a must visit restaurant for us when we come from out of state to visit family. This visit unfortunately came with mixed reviews. Generally Fratelli’s is a busy spot, but on Saturday night it was dead with only one table along with ours seated. Pizza is always a hit and always consistently great. That was the case for our visit. The pasta is good, however, the chicken dishes came with mixed reviews. The Chicken Franchese was good, but the lemon flavor was a bit overpowering and could have been toned down. I had a chicken dish with spinach, prosciutto and a tomato demi glaze that was awful. The sauce color was unappealing and the taste was not good. The worst part of our dining experience was the constant chatter of the wait staff. While they were attentive, the entire meal was ruined by their loud chatter. I could not believe how loud their conversation was and how it carried over to our table. Word to owner– train your wait staff and teach them manners!

A real hidden gem in Conyngham! GREAT food, nice quaint atmosphere, and good prices with friendly service. A nice selection of appetizers and entrees. They do not serve alcohol/wine so it is BYOB, which can still be fun. Will return again… and again.

BYOB. Great prices great atmosphere and the food is awesome as well. Very big menu don’t be discouraged with the pizza place atmosphere when you first walk in. The dinning room is awesome… Great Hidden Jewel of the valley. Recommend this place to anyone looking for good Italian food when in the area.

I had an Antepasta for lunch. It was good but way too small for $ 10.55!

We had the fried mozzarella as an appetizer and it was good. I had the pasta figoili soup and it was okay and for the main dish I had the penne alla vodka and it was okay. My husband had the veal Parmesan and it was okay.

Enjoyed a catered brunch here with family a few months ago — the food was really excellent and the atmosphere was warm and pleasant, considering we were there post-funeral.
