Great place for lunch! — — — — — — — – Updated 31-Dec-2015 — — — — — — — – We ate here again today. I’m upgrading my review of Bravo from 4 to 5 stars. Today, I had the Greek Salad with Gyro Meat added. Their Gyro Meat is really good here, as is the Tziki Sauce. Great meal. Note too that the toilet seat has been replaced in the men’s room. So that’s a good thing. — — — — — — — – We ordered the Chicken Athena and the Gyro Plate. Both were great but I’m giving the Chicken Athena the edge. I enjoyed the Gyro meat but felt it was a bit on the light side. Would have preferred to see a bit more meat in it. Next time, in addition to a Chicken Athena, we’ll order a Greek Salad and add Gyro Meat to it I took one star away from Bravos as the men’s room toilet had no seat! Seriously — the seat was removed!

Very good breakfast and great home fries. The food was well prepared and very tasty. Prices were reasonable. The daily/weekly specials sounded good too. They also have homemade desserts.

We have a group of 8 to 12 people that have had breakfast every Saturday morning for the last 6 months. They take very good care of us and are always ready for us. The food is fantastic and good as we order. The price is right and the staff and owners are friendly. They like us and we enjoy our time together at Bravos.

Appetizer: feta with olive oil and oregano(bread optional) $ 2.99 Appetizer: Spinach pie deluxe platter $ 5.49 , Welcome to Cookeville! This little place is locared within walking distance of the local hospital, TTU, next door to Domino’s and parking is limited. I’ve been hearing of this fairly new place. My 5 year old and I wanted to try it out solely for the Greek food, not the Southern. The menu was big and specials were clearly displayed on the wall. And after seeing someone’s meal, we decided to give the platter a try. Our order included 2 items from the appetizer menu: feta cheese with olive oil and oregano and the spinach pie deluxe. The feta came in two triangles with some olive oil and dried oregano. I was asked if we wanted any bread to go with it(no charge). We accepted. Next we ordered the platter. This came with 2 kalamata olives, feta cheese, tomatoes, onions, peppers, cucumbers, cucumber dip(tzatziki), pita, and spinach pie(spanakopita). Loved it! No need to fall back on the child’s menu because the Greek food is way better than fried alternative kid food. I came from a Greek community and appreciate the presentation, flavor, and authenticity. The prices were great. Service was very good. This is a business this town needs and is worth telling others about. See you soon. Pros: variety if you don’t want Greek, diner and booths, staff, flavor, quantity, price Cons: parking Would love to see more Greek food like skordalia(garlic spread), stuffed grape leaves(dolmades), moussaka(eggplant), and maybe a dessert.

Traditional diner food with a Greek flair. The menu has many choices but not overwhelming. This reviewer has tried most of the food here, skip out on the Catfish, Meatloaf, and biscuit~gravy, but let me be clear, seasons change and so does cooks, my dad recently said it was his favorite meatloaf and my daughter gets biscuits and gravy every Sunday. I recommend you try the items that sound good to you, if you don’t like it they always make it right. Friendly staff and I see the same customers each time I visit.
