dirty, old, needs updating. Beds are very uncomfortable. Courtyards are better than Fairfields.

ROOM(2nd Floor — King Suite) FRIDGE(Yes) MICROWAVE(Yes) COFFEEMAKER(Yes — Individual Paper Cups) IRON&BOARD(Yes) TV(Panasonic 32″ LCDHDTV) ACCESSIBLEOUTLETS(8) DESK(Yes) COUCH(Yes) FOLDOUTBED(Yes) INTERNET(Free Wifi) BUSINESSCENTER(Yes — Free) FITNESSCENTER(Yes-but not on premise) POOL/HOT TUB(Yes/Yes) PARKING(Free) RATE(June, 2014 — $ 140/night) PROS ** A/C is Effective It cools down the room pretty quickly, which is always a good thing! ** Comfy Bed & Pillows I don’t know if it’s because they’ve figured out my profile(yes, hotels do that!), but the pillows were much firmer than most flimsy hotel pillows. The bed was pretty standard for Marriott, which is good, but even at Marriotts, I get a lot of super flimsy pillows which can ruin a night’s sleep. ** YMCA They don’t have a fitness center on premise, but across the street is a YMCA. It’s free for Marriott Rewards members, and $ 5 for anyone else. It takes 2 minutes to sign up for Marriott Rewards, so you should just do it. I didn’t get the chance to go, but they have a mini waterpark for kids it looked like, and I’m sure it’s about as good or better than a Bally’s inside. I actually wouldn’t mind the small inconvenience of walking across the street(call it a warmup) as long as they have real equipment and there’s not a line for each machine/weight. CONS ** 2nd Floor Hallway Smells Bad It smells like somebody(or some people) ate a bunch of food, drank a ton of liquor, threw up in the hallway, and management used some kind of cleaner to clean it, maybe a month ago. It smells terrible, but it’s not so strong that you can pinpoint it right away and start heaving. Well, I guess if you’re really sensitive, it might be bad. At least the room smells clean! ** Ice & Vending Machines Only on 1st Floor Sucks if you’re on the 2nd. First World Problems, but yes, you have to take the elevator(or stairs) to the first floor. Cash only. ** TV is not HD It’s an HDTV, and the remote says Comcast, but not only is the programming not HD, a lot of the channels have black bars on the top and bottom(letterboxing). The weird thing is, it’s already a widescreen TV. ** Alarm Clock is Incredibly Faint Probably just a broken alarm clock in my room, but still, you can hardly even hear the alarm clock when you’re an inch from the speaker. Waking me up is no easy task, and this alarm clock ** No Easy Desk Outlets Ok, if you’re going to have a desk, chances are, in this day and age, that someone will have something electrical on top of it. You’d expect them to need power, so why is the outlet under the desk where you have to crawl to get to? This must have been the first hotel I’ve stayed at in a long time that didn’t have an outlet on the top of the desk.

Pet friendly AND located right next to YMCA who let’s hotel patrons use their huge gym! Next to Olive Garden and a Mexican restaurant and a gas station. Small pool and spa with pool toys. Breakfast was ok and staff was excellent. Everything we needed for our cross country trip. We even saw deer:)

Place is animal friendly = huge bonus when moving cross country. The room was a bit outdated, but the bed was comfortable enough & continental breakfast is available. Lots of things around to grab a bite eat. The roads were kind of messed up to get to the place due to construction on the highways though(in case you’re just passing through like I was). Staff was nice. The room was set @55 degrees(AC blaring) when I arrived… it was freezing!!! Totally unnecessary & a waste of energy. Big fail on being green, which is funny because they try to promote towel reuse, if you stay multiple days, to be green…

Nice. Tucked back in a small business park but still near food, shopping etc. Clean, no-frills hotel. If you want flat screen tv’s and turn down service, this is not the place for you. If you want an inexpensive, clean, safe overnight stay, here ya go.
