Kelissa Shea

I was wary about trekking to Coon Rapids to check this place out, but I’m glad I did! Tucked into a strip mall, Kelissa Shea is packed with purses, accessories, and clothes in misses and plus sizes (the range is something like size small to 5x). The purses were not my style, but they had a lot of trendy pieces at reasonable prices. The jewelry is mostly fashion, with a few sterling pieces, but fit with the overall flavor of the shop.
I was super pleased to see them carrying some wallet-​friendly clothes from some of my fave online plus labels, like Lucie Lu and Sealed With a Kiss. Nice selection of basics and fashion trendo stuff, like camis in jewel tones, leggings, jeggings, and shrugs. They had some cute dresses, styles ranging from some with a retro/​rockabilly flair to slinky maxi gowns. They did have a sale rack with some decent markdowns, but not tons, so it looks like they move merchandise in and out of there fairly regularly.
I’ll definitely be back. It’s a great place to pick up some basics or a cute dress or top for the office or goin’ out. There are only a couple fitting rooms, but they are huge and have several mirrors; kinda nice if you are trying stuff on with your BFF or whatever and want each others’ opinions all sorority house style. Also, the staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful, and made sure I understood the current sales promotion (but weren’t obnoxious about it). It’s also in close proximity to one of my favorite consignment stores, so double win.
