This place has lots of great merchandise and good coupons but its Christmas season so it’s time to staff more cashiers! I cannot stand these crazy long lines and so few cashiers! Having managers standing around to literally point to which line you should go to is useless-get on a lane and start checking out the customers to keep the flow moving!

kohl’s is famous for their deals, but are they really deals? While I believe a mens sweater is a good value at $ 40, the fact that the ‘original price’ was $ 88 makes me pause. $ 88? Really? I would expect an $ 88 price tag on a brand Macy’s or Talbot’s might carry, I don’t really think Kohl’s brand is ever sold for that price. If they said something to the effect of ‘similar styles’ sold for that price, then yes, that may be true. But the reason you almost always get things at least half off is not because they started out life at a much higher price. You are just buying a lesser quality item for a justifiably lower price. So, when you get to the register and pay $ 20 for that sweater, you did not actually save $ 68 because you never would have paid the $ 88 at Kohl’s in the first place. You saved $ 20 off the Khol’s price, that’s all. Personally, I am not a huge fan of this practice since I don’t think it is being honest to the consumer. Don’t list how much I saved off what I would have paid in a department store. Show me what I saved off Kohl’s prices only. No sense telling me I «saved» $ 30,000 off a Mercedes when I purchased a Chevrolet. I didn’t SAVE that money. I bought a lesser product for a lesser price. End of story.
