I don’t give 5 star ratings unless I’ve had an unusually excellent experience. This tearoom(hold on, guys, this place isn’t decorated in estrogen overload so it’s a gr8 place for you 2) has home cooked, delicious food and an unusually friendly and comfortable atmosphere! Soster Hus means Sister House. 2 sisters with Danish heritage own and operate this tea shop. They also sell antiques. The restaurant has lots for room for diners and is spotlessly clean. We had great, fresh, sticky rolls as desert. They often have Danish foods available although quiche, egg and chicken salad and other dishes are the usual fare. Soster Hus makes everything from scratch. They may be off your beaten track but they’re worth the diverted path. Call first as they have limited their hours. These may change but right now they are only open for lunch on Tue, Wed and I believe Fri. Their menu changes with heavier food including Reuben’s in winter, lighter fare in summer. They are located near the White rock Conservatory which is a great place to stay. See my review on it.
