I really like this place for a haircut. I have a very simple hairstyle yet they always make me feel that the spend the time to make me look and feel good. The price is reasonable and the service very attentive.

I have only had my beard trimmed here so that is all that I can speak to. There seems to be only two women that work here and one of them does a really good job and the other one… not so much. The woman that didn’t do a good job didn’t trim it along my jawline and she kind of took the easy way out and missed a lot of the essential parts of trimming a beard. I’ll stick with the one woman who knows what she is doing from now on.

Kind of sad to write this review after coming here for so long, recommending them to my friends, and considering myself a regular. Today they lost the business of the three guys in my household. I arrived shortly after 3:00 and signed in. I was told that there were three ahead of me. No problem… time to relax with a cup of coffee and come back in 30 or so minutes. I seemed to have arrived just on time, as she was cleaning up from the previous haircut. I said«perfect timing»? She replies that she had only done one haircut and had two more to go. That did not make sense, but I sat down to wait. I asked my sons if they knew the kid whose hair she was cutting. He did. He looked on the list, and sure enough, there was his name, after my two kids! I showed the list to the woman, who knew she had been busted, and she tap-danced around the story. I thought I was a regular, but apparently, not regular enough! I left. There are Very many choices when it comes to where to get a haircut. This place is no longer my choice.

I usually go to Jo’s next to The Field on east Griffin Road but they were closed Mondays. I actually live closer to MVP Cuts but avoided it when it was Sports Clips because the haircuts were rushed. I decided this hair could not wait any longer so I gritted my teeth and went there. I was surprised that it was now called MVP Cuts. I thought Sport Clips was a strong franchise. Perhaps everyone felt like me and stopped coming. Well I will be at MVP again. There was only one girl there, I think her name was Adela or similar. When she began the hair cut it was immediately apparent that she was a well-trained and experienced stylist. She took her time and did those little things that indicate that she cared about what she did. I was not rushed out of there and I instantly knew that I found a place closer to home. The ambiance is great, locker-room for reception area and the chairs are like being in a sky box. The Barbers wear referee style uniforms unlike the cheerleader uniforms of the old place. It is difficult to find a good haircut without paying a fortune. This excellent cut only cost $ 15 so I tipped her $ 10 because $ 25 was what it was worth. I recommend MVP Cuts. Make sure you say you heard bout it on Unilocal. Mike ****Edited 4⁄25 to correct spelling and to spell Adela’s name correctly learned on a subsequent visit.
